    Nze daalụ rinne ! It's funny how I also came to this understanding mid 2020, when I actively began studying Ọdịnana Igbo and comparing what I was learning with what I know of other religions, particularly Christianity as practiced by the Catholic. I connected the dots between Virgin Mary and Nne Mmili. Starting from the colours used to represent both of them: blue and white (refer to Yoruba religion and the Catholic), the special honours bestowed on her; how she's exalted. Star of the Sea, EziNne, etc; how she's associated with purity, wealth, fertility, etc. When you see a statue of Mary she's standing on a serpent. Why? Why is she pictured standing on water? Why does she have a special place, called a grotto, in almost every Catholic parish? As expected the day I shared my thoughts about this on WhatsApp so many of them revolted. But since I made that connection I have dropped almost all my bias against any mode of worship for I finally understood that we all are doing the same thing in different ways. Thank you again.

    Ekene thanks for sharing your thoughts and personal experience. Any deep thinker can come to the knowledge of the truth once they rid themselves of religious bias and prejudice. And one of the things you will realise once you come this knowledge of truth is first, it will humble you. After that, you will realise there is no monopoly to this knowledge. Nature is a leveler.

    Muo malu muo, mmanwu adiro ewku ka mmadu.. Eze ikolo muo, ekene! Continue your good job in putting more light in the ways our ancestors worshipped God. Your teaching is far better than most of these ndi nkiti on the internet who claimed they are teaching odinani but indirectly chasing their pocket. May your agwu and your spiritual teachers continue to reavel more knowledge to you so that you'll keep presenting our odinani to the world in more enlightened ways. Dalu, yazazie

    Very interesting but my question is all those Gods mentioned above are they real answer pray. Because Muslims after watching they hand and feet them will face direction of sun to pray .is that working is the right ways to pray to God.

  • @tobeosigwe6171

    @tobeosigwe6171

    The Muslims pray facing the sun, Anyanwu. It boils down to what I am saying. The Sun is their primary force while Water is the primary force of the Christians. Remember, the Muslims adopted this practice from Arab pagans. Do not be deceived, Islam was built on Arabian Pagan religion. What Mohammed did was to make the God, Allah, to be the sole object of worship. He also laid the groundwork on how to structure the religion into an organised religion like Christianity and Judaism which were already in existence. There is no right or wrong way. What is right is what works for you. What is wrong is what does not work for you. Find out what works more for you and your own people. In the end, you will realise we are all saying/doing the same thing but through different means.

    You don't have to go worship them we speak the truth by confessing our sins repent and abandon the evil doings forever. Cleanse ourselves by hating sin they will see into your problems this why the Most High is addressed as them. You don't know which of them would answer. You don't have to choose like making your a choice be a good person. No one chooses the kind of child she would born But what you have to understand is before you are born you must be chosen they call no one chooses that is the power of the Holy Spirit. In any condition be him a thief they can help seeing the reason we are doing what we do but as soon as they bail us, we have to run and donit no more and not aaha! i have found my glory we keep doing that evil one bad they could change our entire lives. No reasonsble person would want to end, away from his real time. That is what they call karma. Any where we go, they are there but do not talk.

    Hello Comfort, There is such plans but it takes money to pursue plans. So, I will say, when the time is ripe everything will fall into shape. Meanwhile, I teach at my Obi everyday. So, if you make your way down to my Obi you will be taught. What any serious Onye Odinani can bring to these social platforms is just the basics.
