Another cost factor to consider: I just added up what it would cost to rebuild a Dana 300 with JB Conversions 4:1 LowMax gears, 32 spline outputs on both ends with 1350 yokes, and all new bearings and seals = $1950. So take that into consideration with the cost of a Dana 300 if you don't already have one, along with the twin stick flip kit, and buying a whole billet Colossus starts to become a more obvious choice!

I went Altas 4 speed back in 2013. I love it. But was very interested in your comparison. No intention to swap to something different but knowing what's out there is always a plus. If I had a choice at the time the smaller length of the Behemoth would have been a factor. It looks like it is a bit tighter in height too so getting into small spaces would be helpful. I do wonder, looking at it, if the Altas holds more oil and therefore might run a bit cooler. I drive my rig on the road so it sees some miles. Anyways, thanks for putting this together.

Yellow definitely adds the most torque, too bad they don’t have yellow 😅 good luck with the flip!

Behemoth does offer a direct shift linkage, you just have to ask as it is not on the site.

I'll say something bad about the Atlas for you: The jeep will rot away around it and it will eventually be worth more than the jeep. that's it, that's all I got. 😛

That's pretty much the default on every truck. My Tacoma rusted to the ground and the Atlas tcase is the only bling left 😱😁😄😬

The behemoth can also be assembled in both driver or passenger drop configurations. Where as the atlas is stuck with the configuration in which you order it.

A passenger drop configuration would be a pretty specific older vehicle configuration. If you order something for a JK or JL it will always be driver drop

The Biggest issue will be the $6,000+ a Np203/205 double can cost as low as 2k or less if you're a fab rat. Yes, I know the double is a 4to1 and the others can be 4to1- or 7to1+. I would love to make a build around one of these tho.

Thanks for offering your opinion. I actually did not get this case for free, they sent it to me to check out and I had to send it back. I can go take a pic of what’s under my Jeep right now it’s not this. It’s also not a review, it’s just pointing out major differences between the two so you can make an educated decision and form your own opinion. Funny timing though, the opportunity came up today for me to BUY this exact case (which they’ve been using to take to shows) so we’re talking about that possibility.
