There was litterally absolutely NOTHING wrong with this entry. The song is beautiful, the singer and backing vocalists all sang flawlessly, the flowers and thorns in the background were mesmerizing, the outfits were good, and then, because it's Slovenia, they place merely 13th. That one's the televoters' fault!

This was great, and still is by a great singer. It's problem, I think, was the production. The song starts as a slow ballad, that gradually builds, all the way through, to a powerful climax. If you watch the performance from the Slovenian song contest final (with Maja in the cobalt blue dress, the wind machines and dancers) it was ten-times better. Though the Eurovision final had the nice visuals with the thrones/flowers in the background, the stage performance and costuming was lacklustre. I think that affected the songs final lowly 13th position. It deserved much higher. It should have been top 5 at a minimum.

The juries rightfully saved this song from a poor placing, ranking it 4th vs the televote's 22nd place, for a combined result of 13th. Thank goodness for the juries.

Why do you think they brought the juries back? To counter block voting and diaspora. Since the juries came back, the quality of songs and the contest's reputation have both risen greatly. So I strongly disagree.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with entry from 2022 (LPS - Disco) to not to qualify. Maybe after 2023 the spotlights will be now more on the Slovenia, and it would be easier for them.

The best Slovenian entry ever, and so underrated song. Love from Serbia!

I'm still pissed this didn't win. It's the only Eurosong song I come back to. And to think it's Slovenian is even more mind blowing.

Deserved to win more than the actual winner…

One of the very few entries I come back to every year. One of the best and most underrated ESC entries of the decade. A placement outside of top 5 is incomprehensible, let alone outside of top 10. But thank you Slovenia for serving us this timeless masterpiece ✨

In Slovenian it was a cute and beautiful love song. In English it's a savage revenge song. But still underrated. Yeah, any Nordic country would have won with this.

Thank you! At last, I found someone who appreciates the way juries vote! Everyone bashes them and says they vote "politically". But at the end of the day, they are those who vote more professionally and without much bias.

Well, I can hardly find an example of them voting politically. The televote is much worse, voting for neighbours, for their own country from abroad, voting because of staging, because the performer is beautiful/handsome and for other ridiculous reasons.

Mały Nieogar There’s loads of examples of where juries saved songs that televote had underrated. Israel 2010, Slovenia 2011, Spain 2012, Italy 2012, Moldova 2013, Norway 2015, Israel 2016, Uk 2017, North Macedonia 2019. Need anymore?
