This song is helping me through my breakup/first heartbreak. It perfectly encompasses everything I feel. I could have stayed in that awful relationship, because she wanted me, but one day I'd wake up married to her "and still flinch at the sound of the door". We could have stayed delusional and think we were good together ("we could live off of magic and maybes") but I'd stay completely miserable for the rest of my life and "what about my wings"? I could have kept helping her through her inner demons, but "what about Wendy"? I'm SO thankful this song exists, it reminds me that I'm not alone and that other people have gone through this so I can as well.
