I think the beautiful thing about that line is that it can apply to lots of situations, not just romantic relationships, and can be relatable to everyone :)

It actually may sound weird as some views it but av never been in a relationship (am 22yrs of age ) but this piece makes me catch my feels and being me

My husband, a nice guy who changed his mind, just told me last night that our marriage is done. Out of the blue and without a warning. And I've never cried hard in my life until I actually listened to lyrics of this song(after playing it on repeat for a month now). I'm pretty devastated at the thought that I'm about to lose my bestfriend and the man I dearly love. I tried my best to be the best wife I can be, but I guess I was good, just wan't good enough.

I had not heard of Maisie until Ed Sheeran concert in Dublin. I certainly went for Ed, but I definitely went home with Maisie 🙂 . Album on vinyl was ordered the very next day.

I discovered her through spotalike using julia michaels songs hahaha i never regretted listening to her. Her EP made me root for her

I remember back in March when I met Maisie in a small cafe in Denver before her concert, I remember the moment I looked into her eyes in person and somehow that memory makes this video hit different. I think we seem to put amazing people like her on a sort of pedestal and forget that their human and they hurt just as much as we do they just know how to express it in a much different way. I would love this song even if I hadn’t met her but that experience really made me feel this song even deeper. I’m not trying to rub it in anyone’s face that I met her I just want everyone to always remember there is a real person behind every one of her songs and to never take it for granted that she shares songs like these with us. Thank you Maisie for the song and that moment in that cafe, I’ll always love both of them.
