I bet that sucked! Lol, I wouldn't be able to keep fish anywhere near the level I do without it 😂

So when you do a 90% water change AND clean the filter, doesn't the tank cycle crash? My tank is smaller than yours ( it's a 20 long ) and it will crash every time. I wind up with a bio-bloom. It usually takes 2-5 days to clear up. This will vary. I don't usually do that big of water changes but I have pond and bladder snails and they tend to die off in cycles. And when that happens, the ammonia goes off the deep end. So I have to do a bigger water change. Usually I only do about a 25-30% change. And alls well.

Not usually, it has happened before. I clean the filter in tank water and never really let it sit dry, so I don't kill all my bacteria off in the filter plus there's still alot of bacteria on everything in the aquarium. Also add some stability or quick start just to be safe.

Fam full that fx6 with all seachem matrix u thank me later and put polishing pad on top tray I wish I could show u my tanks
