Well, when someone with right wing views is talking all time about cultural marxism which is just updated cultural bolshevism, which far-right antisemitic conspiracy theory, which is nazi propaganda, you cannot wonder why Red skull memes exists. And let ne something clear, I didn't say Peterson is nazi, I said that he's unknowingly spreading nazi conspiracy theory. My point is that he should know better as public person. I remember asking myself in my mind “Did I.. eat a.. weed cookie? Am I.. HIGH?” Mind you I don’t smoke weed so the fact I really felt the need to ask myself that was odd to me. My immediate next reaction was to look around the room for someone, anyone -& ask them “Do you SEE this? Are you seeing this?” but there was no one around. I was alone.

Dead, dead, dead - they’re ALL F’QUING DEAD to me. And long may they remain so, never to rise again. One difference is that legacy media is passive - you just sit there and it decides what depth and angle of each news item is warranted. It takes effort to follow a line of reasoning or inquiry on the internet, so it's far better suited to intelligent people. Unfortunately, dumb-arses get on forums and spew abuse at anyone they disagree with but the world isn't perfect I guess!

Sadly, nearly as many people evidently like being lied to. As long as there’s a demand for comfortable lies & partial truths to support preconceived ideas of how the world works...there will be a supply. Kinda does seem like there’ll inevitably be a breaking point, though. Should be interesting, to say the least. We’re certainly due for a paradigm change.

@@robertranger6612 Denial is a helluva drug. Never underestimate the profound power of the mind to twist itself (distort incoming information) to prevent the ego from having to admit it had been mistaken. Pride & fear are the root causes of this denial. The ego loves lies that support what it already believes and hates truths that threaten it. They’re called DEFENSE mechanisms for good reason. Try to remember that most people are deathly afraid of having to reconstruct their worldview. And of losing their social support system. It’s far easier to ‘go along to get along’ than to rock the proverbial boat. The average person values comfort & complacency over truth, even if they don’t realize it. It’s also that they’re (subconsciously) terrified that if they find out they can’t trust the media and their government...WHO can they trust? Those without a spiritual mainstay would be rudderless in a vast ocean.
