I spent about 9 months in Maine working a few years back, lived in Augusta. Originally from East Tennessee, by far one of my favorite places I got to live for a while. Even hiked Katahdin and I did Knifes Edge per the requests of the Mainers I worked with. I didn't make connection with Far Harbor until years later, Fallout isn`t for everyone i like it though.

I'm from and live in Maine (I think I mentioned it before in a livestream) and no, Far Harbor is not like Bar Harbor or Acadia. Bar Harbor is a tourist trap, but Acadia is so beautiful!

I was really excited for Far Harbor, bought it at launch, and was pretty disappointed. There is one quest I remember finding pretty charming: A murder mystery involving Robobrains. I was a bit let down when I found that, if your charisma is high enough, the game basically only provides ways to answer correctly. I do feel like I’m more positive on Fallout 4 than a lot of fans, but that dialogue system really did a lot of quests dirty.

The problem with you dying is because of the armor your wearing. You either need to wear an under suit (vault suit ect) and a bunch of armor pieces like the infantry set, or go full into power armor. You effectively has little to no damage reduction or even rad resistance wearing Kellogg's stupid clothing.

Man, one of my favorite KZreadrs is also from Maine, I'm glad

:| Looks like I have to play Fallout 4 again, so I don't get spoilers. I kept avoiding playing the DLC, and also watching videos on it. I'd have loved a melee build, but I went Charisma stat which is basically brainwashing people, but needing a single handed firearm for it. I got a good 2 minutes and 49 seconds out of the video though.

Now that you mention it (that you’re from Maine), your resemblance to Stephen King is striking. Only thing missing is the nasally voice.

3:10 is before bethesda knew how to make Asian people 😂

the memory crap from DLC actually made me snap my disc in half it was so awful.

Ah man Falllout 4 really is so bad. It's the only post-Skyrim Bethesda game I got and unistalled it after few hours of gameplay. That means i will not get another post-Skyrim Bethesda game, period :D, not even TES VI I don't think.

You could say you’re the Maine character…….

I normally very much enjoy dialog in games due to it giving back story or world building, but fallout 4 dialog could put me to sleep. Feels like it’s too much and dialog heavy sections feel like they drag on. I really enjoyed Fallout 3 when I was a teenager I got super into it, but I just can’t get drawn into Fallout 4 the same way.

I can see the reasons people don't like anything Fallout from Fallout 4 on, but dude if you hate Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 I'm gonna have to question your opinion on Fallout. Those two games are objectively fantastic gaming experiences and I don't presume to know why you hate Fallout, but I'd implore you to take a look at 3/NV again. In my opinion they're possibly GOAT status and just as playable today as they were going on 15 years ago. I don't know of ANY other games that old where I can pick it up and play and feel just as completely invested as I was the first time I played it. Plus with mods you can basically modernize or fix them in any way if you wanted. I personally don't have a problem with Fallout 4 but I get why it's garnered all the criticism and I like the first two Fallout games just fine but it's not in a modern 3d format so I don't consider it with the others. Fallout 3 and New Vegas is WHERE IT'S AT! Ok man thanks and great video!.. just thought I'd add my two cents.

I really hate post apocalyptic settings so that's mostly why. Barely played Fallout 3 though so my opinion isn't fully formed for that one.
