Main Street Station is such a cool place! I was at the buffet one week before they shut down. Glad to see it’s back!

A section of the buffet was not open, didn't have the 'make your own tacos'. =(. This was Day 1, so we're sure they will expand the selections and up their quality to where it was before the shutdown.

I'm so happy you two were able to go and see the re-opening of Main Street Station. This place really is a great place to hang out and get away from the Freemont Street crowd. I'm glad Boyd Gaming decided to reopen the place.

Great stink eye to Bill's " pear " joke. Too funny !!!!

I was trying to figure out where this casino was in LV, and just then you showed the view out the window and how it was situated near Circa. Thanks for doing that. Another interesting video. I noted how graciously Bill mentioned the other KZreadrs in the video a couple of times. It’s refreshing to be able to spend time with such a kind, generous and fun loving couple!

I have been going to Main Street for at least 25 years! I just never found a buffet better than theirs! Simply delicious. I just love the hotel and casino. Can't beat it. Glad its reopen. Will be there soon as I vist Vegas again😋

Went there for lunch today. I was a huge fan of the Triple 7 Brew Pub. Unfortunately, it wasn't open. They are only open from 5 pm to 12 am, and their menu has been changed quite a bit. Seems they are, at least for now, focusing on their Hawaiian guests. Hope them the best.

Loving the new introduction! Spooky. I’m a Disney/Vegas lover so I look forward to all of your new adventures! Keep them coming.

It’s nice to have a buffet open in downtown Las Vegas. We visited and reviewed for the weekend dinner buffet and enjoyed it.

Hey guys! Great video as always. We see that you were able to get more of the lunch items that weren’t there earlier. I think you had a great view, more like a straight on shot of the buffet so you probably saw them bring it out. By that time we were full and didn’t know that they were bringing more out until you had told us. We are glad your review is similar to ours even though we ate completely different meals LOL we think we may return once it’s 100% back to normal. It was our favorite place to go when we would visit here when we still lived in California I would go to Fremont Street for all of the concerts. Easy to walk to and great food. Loved seeing the both of you! Thank you so much for mentioning us a couple more times throughout the video. That was so sweet of the both of you. 💙💜💙💜💙💜💙💜

Here are the HOURS and PRICES Main Street Buffet: Brunch open daily 8am to 2pm $18.99 Dinner open Friday and Saturday only 4pm to 9pm $25.99. No breakfast and no lunch, just brunch.

Just wanted to share this with you...I broke my leg on a broken sidewalk going to check-in at Caesars, so we were very limited but still went ahead and saw shows and made most of our reservations (we were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary). I gotta tell you Lavo's weekend brunch was one of our favorites, they were sooo nice, and the food was incredible!!! We also enjoyed Nine Fine Irishmen, and Hugo's Cellars (although broke leg right after we left and didn't get to enjoy the steak....it was my leftovers), Chicago Pub was great, and the High Roller with the bar was FABULOUS (GET THE BAR)!! Bacchanal Buffet although waitress was nice, the one seating us was quick to tell me that I would be in the way and I needed to use crutches so my husband ran the whole time (try caring a plate and crutches?) and that would have been fine, if she hadn't let someone at least 20 years younger than me go along with her scooter (she almost ran over one man and was driving crazy...she had a wrap around her knee and honestly didn't look like she was hurting at all?) I'm gonna tell you ...breaking your leg and having to use Handicapped for everything really opens your eyes!! The places we LOVED, we above and beyond and shows Criss Angel and Absinthe will work with you to help you. I normally get around just fine...so maybe this will help someone with mobility issues?

Park at The Cal and walk over to Main Street Buffet. I like to get a bowl of rice and then go to the egg station to have them make me 2 over easy eggs, a few dashes of shoyu then.add some hash, Portuguese sausage and anything else that I like. Heaven!! So good!! Many happy memories doing this with my Aunties and Uncles and playing Wheel of Fortune with them. Thanks for covering this Casino!!

15:39 sounded like Thunder Mountain Railroad. When I was a little kid I thought the meat carver at Old Country Buffet was the coolest job.

This was my grandparents FAVORITE buffet to go to and eat in Vegas. Hope they have one in heaven. We used to take a picture by the flower pots at 4:13. Great Memories!!

Love the new Halloween intro. Great pic and your kid's names on the banner, so cool! Saw J&K's review first as they posted it one day earlier and saw you in their video. They didn't try it but they showed the Loco Moco scramble and we knew that will definitely be on Bill and Lisa's video. Was curious about it. Glad you tried it. MSS is so beautiful and has so much history. Didn't know about it either until we saw it on Say Hi to Matthew. Ethel M, we always stop by at the airport on the way home to get a free sample and pick up some goodies. Their candy bars are really good too. Not a beer drinker but any drink with cherries in it works for me. Lisa's drink looks yummy. Thank you for going to the re-opening. Great review.

That hotel was beautiful, great architecture. Loved the ceilings, were they tin or copper?? I like that the food was not too salty, you can always add some. Some places have such salty food. That crust on the pumpkin pie was so thick! I would go there just for the chicken thighs, my mouth was watering. Melaney from SoCal

I've been treated pretty well at Boulder Station. The strip has gotten out of hand with 6-5 BJ and charging you to breathe air

The 777 brewery had a great happy hour. Too bad … no oysters, etc. But I’ve always liked their beers.

I like how you review the average places that most regular people visit with an occasional upscale restaurant in between, but I don't think I've ever heard you dislike any food so it doesn't narrow down the hundreds or even thousands of places for me to visit.

There’s been a few that we didn’t care for. But, taste is subjective. What we may dislike could be a favorite for someone else. That’s why we always encourage everyone to try these places for themselves.

@@billandlisa I love your videos especially on the upscale restaurants. Since there are thousands of of restaurants in Vegas, and I go to Vegas only a few times a year, I need to pare down the places I would like to go. I use word-of-mouth and reviews like on KZread to choose where to go. For instance there were so many positive reviews on the Bacchanal, I went there and loved it. Over half the reviews I saw on the RW and Bellagio buffets were negative so I don't plan to go there. Again, I would like to go to places that I have a better chance of liking, and going there only four to six times a year, I depend on the reviews.

Everything looks so clean there. I wonder why all the doors were open? The Shoyu chicken looked great!!! Love the historical and antique details there!

FYI. Chicken fried steak is steak.. Not chicken.. It's just prepared like fried chicken...

Awesome video, guys! We appreciate the honest review of the buffet and agree it seemed a bit overpriced. Lisa had my mouth watering with the pork chop review and the creamy soft serve. Yum! Thanks guys! Feels like stepping back in time when you enter and stay at Main Street. Not many hotel-casinos like this in Vegas anymore. The pork chops and shoyu chicken are the high points, but sure the rest will come up in quality and selection as time goes by.

All you can Vegas Derek made a recent video featuring this buffet but footage was lacking so I came to your video for the good stuff!

So is Main Street Station known for their Hawaiian options on their buffet? I never knew! Great history lesson😄

Yes, they do offer Hawaiian favorites in both the buffet and Triple 7 restaurant.

Love how personalized your new opening is with all the names and favorite things. Spooky chopsticks straight up represents death, no? Perfect for Halloween. Lisa, chicken fried steak is beef, not chicken patties. I guess it could be a variation but it looked like beef to me. Fun vlog!

Yep, my favorite meal, breakfast lunch or dinner. Chicken fried steak!! But true chicken fried steak comes with thick milk gravy. And has no chicken at all !

My favorite casino to gamble and then go across the bridge to California to get some Hawaiian fast food.

The beer prices jumped quite a bit as well, long gone I guess are the $2.75 pints! Still a good deal though!.

I really like your videos. Very informative. Being a local, everything has changed in Vegas since COVID so it's nice to see the places you go to & what to expect. Haven't been to Main St casino in many years but will give it a try. Watched your Bellagio buffet video and will go there as well. Thanks...keep up the good work.

Chicken fried steak is beef. It's coated and fried, like fried chicken, that's where it get's it's name.

Love this place! 777 is a great place to have some beers and pupus. Try the prime rib🤙. When they first opened they use to have a heads or tails game where everyone stood in a circle and took turns flipping a silver dollar, and you bet.🤪 Usually has oxtails in the stew🤔

So far, so good. Not unsubscribed. Thanks for the share. Good to know for next time I go to Las Vegas whenever that will be.

I like the review but I disagree on the price point comment because there are no comparisons Downtown. With no DT buffets, Main Street buffet price point is fair and yes I've been there pre-pandemic and the prices were lower. The South Point Casino buffet is less but there are no nearby walking casinos.
