Oh my!! Never expected Cornish pastys in Vegas, we have them shipped from Penzance, Cornwall up to Yorkshire, the traditional pasty has the crimping on the side, so the miners could hold that, while they ate the pasty, so the rest didn’t get dirty 😃 may have to give them a taste test when we come back in September, fingers crossed we’re allowed 😊😊😊

I’m so glad you tried Noras, it’s so delicious and you’re right very reasonably priced. Nice to know those places exist here!

Wow, I can’t believe you went to Nora’s, I love that place! My friends who live in Vegas took me there many times and we never had a bad meal. I also love their garlic bread.

Vegas.. Well known for their pasties in their shows!

No way, haha. Cornish Pasty is on my next trip in August, and I was hoping you'd try the pudding. I tried Gordon's pudding, it was ok, but it didn't knock my socks off. The presentation of Cornish's pudding is totally different. Can't wait to try it. Btw, I'll be getting the shepard's pie pasty.

The pasty is an Upper Peninsula of Michigan staple! It was a convenient lunch for miner"s in the Iron Mines. Best served with ketchup, brown gravy and some times mustardy pickled vegetables.

I’m currently in Vegas. We had Taco El Gordo for lunch. DELICIOUS! Tonight we’re dining at Joe’s Seafood in Ceasars. I owe it to your videos for these recommendations! Also, several places have lines wrapped around the building that we were forced to eat at Denny’s for breakfast. Let me tell you… it was soooo darn good!

@parlayin My father was such a fabulous cook that I compare Italian restaurants to his cooking and I learned from the best, so yes, for the most part, I can do just as well from home and save myself some money.

I've eaten at Nora's since they were in a strip mall. I love their linguini and clam sauce.

Thank you. Cornish Pasty is a great find. LARGE selection makes me want to try many, however, single eater and the size means pick carefully and enjoy. Your visit to Nora''s made me wonder if they make their own pasta fresh. The two of you had many dishes and I realize you share, but I ask, are you buying/trying that many dishes just for the video?

Hi Bill & Lisa, I spoke with you Saturday morning at the Orleans. You both were so nice to take a few minutes to speak with me. I asked for a recommendation of a steakhouse off the stip and Lisa recommend Cleavers. Well, my family of 8 went Monday night to Cleavers and it was the highlight meal of the trip. Thank you so much and my mom and I will continue to watch your videos as we exercise in the morning.

I’ve been to Vegas several Times and really never ventured out to other restaurants so thank you so much because I will try both those restaurants the next time I’m able to go to Vegas I was getting so hungry just watching you guys eat!😋 New subscriber friend!

You make the best choices. Great that you go off Strip for the BETTER stuff. Worn out are vlogs visits to Mon Ami Gabi, Hell’s Kitchen, Catch etc etc.

I have to say, I was distracted by the wild traffic wizzing-by. And so close to the restaurant window!

The Cornish Pasty Co. started in Arizona… coolest locations are downtown Phx and downtown Scottsdale. The banoffee pie is a great dessert as well.

STP is my kid’s favourite, Cartmel (in, or v near the Lake District) is the spiritual home of STP. Btw, Treacle is more like what I believe you call molasses in the US. Very dark, almost black. We also use it in Parkin, a traditional cake/ bread eaten around Guy Fawkes night. Remember, remember the 5th of November, gunpowder treason and plot. Keep up the great videos.

Yup looks like the same restaurant as the Arizona one. The chicken tikka was awesome there FYI.👍🏻

They have that restaurant in Phoenix/Scottsdale-Cornish Pasty was amazing Historical hot pocket ;-) I ❤️ scotch eggs , great English pub. The sticky toffee pudding was #1 for me - Uber-moist .

Nora has been so great birthday dinner and even packed up to go they do a really good job !! The bread pudding for dessert is just as good as a piece of cake !

Noras is really good. Try to stop there when I visit Vegas. Have to give the Cornish pastry place a try. Ate at one in Arizona not sure it’s the same?
