I found Main Street thanks to stumbling across the Newfangled four. Though I remember when I first watched a Main Street act i was like 'That guy called Tony looks really familiar' then read comments on the vid and realised I knew him from watching Voctave videos.

The thing I love most about Mainstreet is that you never know what is coming next. From the banter to the dance moves to even calling out the music judges- the fact that they are always a wild card is something that makes their performances captivating.

5:03 Tony takes the opportunity of a distracted audience to demo run the next line. I've always found it fascinating how comedy quartets are able to come back with a well tuned chord after a significant break in the music.

Tony does this periodically as they are performing. He is taking advantage of the audience being distracted. At 5:22 he does a note before they started up again a second later. He does this to make sure everybody knows what is coming next and the key, so they can remain in tune.
