Another great video. Question, I have a ruby red grapefruit tree in the ground. My leaves are all kinds of funky some leaves are curled like they didn’t develop and then I have new growth that the leaves are curled up witch means lack of water but the the leaves are almost transparent. Now I feed this tree and watered it well and the problem still exists. I appreciate any advice you have. Thank you.

Very interesting stuff! I had a similar situation with a power outage and my timer not resetting itself correctly. Tangential, but do you have any advice on dealing with gophers/ground squirrel?

gophers you need to put traps in the tunnels. Look up gopher hawk. For ground squirrels, all they do is just make holes in the ground, they shouldn't damage your tree unless they're young.

If it rains for few days straight do you keep your container trees out or bring them in? Especially for avocado I read info out there that rain more than 2 days is bad for them. I couldn't believe it.

That would be a myth. No all our trees stay outside even if it rains for days non-stop.

Hi I’ve been growing new grass from seed and am fairly certain I have over watered my tree in the process. My leaves are starting to yellow and wilt is there any specific steps I should take to help it recover? Thanks in advance

Over watering established trees in ground takes months to years of constant wetness with no drainage to start damaging your trees. Are you sure this is the case for you?

I’m mostly certain it’s not a very old tree maybe in its toddler stages at most. I watered pretty heavily for 2 weeks straight keeping the seed moist probably a little more than I should have the ground was pretty soggy for the entire time. The leaves turned yellow and started wilting the previous years it never had that issue. I think it’s starting to feel better though leaves are starting to spring back up after no water for a week
