MAIN PORT of CEBU PORT AUTHORITY | AERIAL VIEW
Port of Cebu is a seaport located in Cebu City, Philippines. It is the port that serves the Metro Cebu Area and it is managed by the Cebu Port Authority.
The Cebu Ports Authority (CPA) was created through the enactment of Republic Act No. 7621, signed on June 26, 1992. The CPA's mandate is to administer all ports located in Cebu Province, thus effectively separating these ports from the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) system. The CPA began operations and officially took over all Cebu ports on January 1, 1996.
The Cebu Port System is composed of the Cebu Baseport and its subports which are strategically located in different points of Cebu. The Cebu Baseport is composed of the Cebu International Port and the Baseport - Domestic Zone. There are five subports within the jurisdiction of Cebu Port Authority, namely: Mandaue, Danao, Sta. Fe, Toledo and Argao.

CPA was Independent since 1992 under of RA 7621 which effectively separate on PPA in 1996
Port of Cebu is operated by Cebu Port Authority or CPA. Cebu Port Authority has its own charter and independent from Philippine Port Authority which manages all other ports in the country. Being an independent entity, Port of Cebu, manages or has direct control to all other ports within Cebu, both public and private ports. It sources its own income from the operation of all ports. It also gives 10% of its annual income to the national government but it cannot ask for financial help from the national government (unfair isn't it?). Same thing with Mactan-Cebu International Airport or MCIA which is not under CAAP. The airside part (runways, taxiways, and navigational systems) of Mactan-Cebu Airport is operated by Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), an independent agency. The landside of the airport (terminals, parking areas, commercial/retail areas, access control, etc.) meanwhile is currently operated by a private entity, GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corp. (GMCAC), a consortium between GMR-India and Megawide (Philippines).
The Port of Cebu is the Philippines' second busiest and largest seaport next to the Port of Manila. Magnificent drone shots sir Gawens.

Much better than some ports i know that theyre still using cranes to unload their cargoes.
