Thank you. Live wire left a comment above & said there was 18 cars, not the 24 that I thought there was and that the chassis should say AFX CHINA rather than AFX made in China. Thanks for checking out the video & leaving a comment, I appreciate it. 🏁👍🏻👊🏻

Great video! I do indeed have both those cars, they were also set cars, they came in my 4-Way Split set that I bought back in the late 90's. Unfortunately mine all came with the bad Super G + chassis that had brittle plastic and all of them cracked where the rear axle clips in. I transplanted all the part to BSRT G3 chassis many years ago. I now have the running Viper VSPEC chassis.

I had a bunch of those Black super G's that cracked. At least we have companies like Viper that make such awesome chassis, based on the Super G+. Have a great weekend. 🏁 Will-

I have a few TOMY AFX.., indy cars, a pink nomad, some LMP Porsche's, Shelby Daytonas..I think i have two or three PT cruisers, I bought cases of those when racemasters clearance them out. Gave most away to kids I was trying to get into the hobby. I moved a couple years ago and have a lot of my hobby things that still have been unpacked..kind of ridiculous really.

@@mortonbeard2240 I do like it, I have a lot of them in my collection. The detail on there bodies is incredible. The only thing i change is the rear tires with silicone tires from super tires. There is no denying that the Nega G+ is a fantastic car and the look like a million bucks. That said, lately I have been mostly buying and running the "Super 7 GTS" & "Super 7 SC" from Harden creek. The super 7 GTS has a balanced armature and double flanged rear wheels. The super 7 SC is the same except it does not have a balanced armature and the rear wheels are single flanges. The SC is perfect for your sectional track, the GTS has smaller diameter tires for running on routed tracks. They can set you up with larger tires if you ever think about trying one out. Find them here: shop.hcslots.com/cart.php?m=search_results&headerSearch=Y&search=Super+7+gts The other chassi i have been runnimg is the V-spec from Viper scale racing. Find it here: viperscaleracing.com/product/vspec/ 🏁👊🏻👍🏻

I believe that there were only 18 cars in the series, with EX-0018 being the #28 Ferrari. Another way to tell if it's a correct chassis, it will have "AFX China" molded on the right side of the chassis, instead of "AFX made in China." The chassis should also have the 'two dot' traction magnets.

I went down to the shop and looked again they have the two dot magnet , but say AFX made in China. I have several other Super G's that have the two dot magnet & do say AFX CHINA on the side..but not metal rear axle retainer.. stumped.

@@slotslidershoslotcars A lot of both chassis came with the 2 dot magnets, I think. And not all the Japanese chassis had the metal brace. I also would guess both chassis were available in Japan during certain years. But as far as the EX series, from what I've learned, they all should have the AFX-China chassis, 2 dot magnets and the metal brace.

EX series cars are the best ever made. They are faked frequently. Have owned a couple dozen over the years and only got burned once. Mainly because I generally only buy them if they are still sealed. The one I got burned on was a TakaQ. Didn't have the correct chassis but I did have extras so it was no big deal. Every sealed case I ever opened had the AFX China chassis etc. Those were not exclusive to the EX series in the beginning and could be had in other packaging. As a note the metal axle retainer was and still is available separately. Aside from the chassis the bodies on EX series were always perfect. In other packaging minor defects were sometimes present. This is because the Japanese buyers wouldn't tolerate anything but the best. VERY serious about slot car racing. There are a couple variations on the pit case back wall decoration.
