After that things may have changed, but now is the start of Carlos' favourite part of the season, and he will be great again.

One of the most deserving player won it. He is appears to be so humble. Great job and hopefully he will win more.

Medvedev had only ever lost 1 grand slam match on a hard court when winning the first set… now it’s 2. Such a tough loss but what a close match. 142 points for Sinner 141 for Medvedev

The last point on the ball match evokes Sinner's entire oeuvre on AO... Such a cold-blooded dunk, it was a pleasure to see... calm, composed, cool-headed for the first GS... Future number 1, no doubt.

I think it was just a clever ploy on Sinner's part..let Medvedev win the first 2 sets easily like he did against Nadal 3 years ago but yet ended up losing the match...so Sinner just turned up the heat in set three knowing that winning that set would just create another bad sense of deja vu for Medvedev and that his confidence would collapse and it did!😂 Medvedev now holds the record that he certainly doesn't want or need....he's now the only Slam finalist in the Open era to lose the finals TWICE now after leading by two sets to love!😅

Pretty incredible to beat both Djokovic and Medvedev. Two of the best players currently active on hard court.

Со стороны показалось, что Медведеву не хватило сил после 2-го сета, видимо сказалось, что играл на 6-ть часов больше Синнера. В 3-м сете при счете 4-4 всё могло иначе повернуться, но это спорт, Янник заслужил. Если Синнер продолжит также играть - впереди шикарная карьера, чего ему и желаю.
