Maid of Ace are a major part of the #GeneralElection2024Soundtrack being compiled (with your suggestions please) by me; the Independent Parliamentary Candidate.

Love Maid of Ace! 🤘😎🎸 This is a track I was not yet familiar with so thanks! Even if it's a cover, Idc... One of my favorite UK-Bad-Bitch-Invasion bands!! I do see a few all-girl bands that I know of missing from this channel. Sweden's Sahara Hotnights is still going, I believe, after re-forming some years back. Massachusetts' Potty Mouth is broken up but I believe Abby still makes music. I'm sure even I am missing some bands here. I'll edit whenever they occur to me. Like right now, not even an hour later I discover Japan's Otoboke Beaver (the name I may have heard before now but NOW.... ). Give them some love please. There are also some NEARLY ALL-girl bands that maybe deserve some exposure here, like A Void and Skating Polly and some others I can't think of off the top of my head and hey... What about The Breeders??? AND ESPECIALLY: Where are The SoapGirls !?!?!? Oh, they're just in Europe right now, in the middle of their most ambitious world tour yet, supporting their fourth album In My Skin. They are back in the States for a second round, this time in the Midwest and East coast, starting October 5th in the Chicago area, moving east and south and then ending in the Chicago area again in early November. They do count as an all-girl band, since it's just two sisters. They utilize whatever hired-gun drummer they have for each leg of the tour or for recording. The only permanent members are the Debray Sisters Camille and Noemie, or for short Mille and Mie (pronounce like Milly and Me). The music since about 2013 or 14 has been no-nonsense DIY hard-garage-rock-meets-metallic-grunk-pop (I just made that up so I claim the name of the genre *lol* (c)2023, Drinking Ethyl Productions). Before that they were (practically but not literally) 'prisoners' of Universal Music, stuck in a contract and making bubble-gummy pop when they really wanted to rock. They really deserve some recognition here, but as I said above, not JUST them... Want a wee taste? And a pathway to more sweet Soap? We love all the bands we spotlight but can admit the punk bands have a special place in our hearts. And the fact that this is a cover from another all female band makes it even more special and punk rock will never die😊

Maybe some Japanese all female bands? It's really worth listening to. Band Maid - hard rock - "Play" or "Moratorium", Mutant Monster "Abnormal"- punk rock, Lovebites - "Rising", Aldious - "We are", Bridear - "Light in the Dark", power metal, Gallhammer "At the onset of the age of despair" - doom metal, Bleach03 - "The Head That Controls Both Right And Left Sides Eats Meats And Slobbers Even Today" - trashcore, Tricot - "Niwa Studio Live Session with 5 Drummers" - punk, math rock.

We do pick bands at random, and do have a few from Japan within the channel, as long as lyrics are in English, trying to stay uniform with one language only since we have followers from around the world, and we have bands from all over the world as well..but no death or black metal bands, funny you mention Lovebites, they are an AMAZING band, we actually made a video to go on the channel but due to copyright issues were not able to post it :( some of the other bands you mentioned we will check them out for sure! @@sheroxallfemalebands3196 This song of Bleach03 appeared in one of the episodes of the series "Mr Robot", what probably meets the "international" criteria :) Aldious is someone like the "mother" of Lovebites, without that band formed in 2008, there would not be many female metal rock band in Japan. On the drums at Aldious plays Marina Bozzio, stepdaughter of Terry Bozzio, who is a legend of this instrument, because of many years of cooperation with, among others, Frank Zappa. "We are" and "Light in the dark" - most of the lyrics in English. The rest of bands and songs just listen and decide for yourself. In my opinion, Japanese female rock bands are a phenomenon on a global scale. Above all because of the amazing intrumental skills of these girls. For ladies like MISA - bass, MIYA - bass, Akane - drums, Koga - bass, Saki - guitar ("Mary's Blood" band) and many, many others, there would be a place in the best men's bands outside Japan.
