Love for her from Australia. Saw her in Karachi in one of the malls during verna promotions. I asked for a picture but suddenly my 2 year old left my hand and went towards parking. She saw it and ran to protect him from traffic and we both got him in 5 seconds. I thanked her and her team

Questions were somewhat difficult but she handled them well. didn't expected this when interview started :-)

I have no idea why she even gets hate in the first place . When has she ever spoken rudely to or about anyone ? What has she done other than make a career for herself ? I think she should be appreciated and at the very least treated with respect .

Her response " i got a call first i thought its joke then i get to know its real makers make me believe thry wanna cast me opposite srk.. I was happy obviously but i asked them plz can u send me a script first i wanna know whats my role in film.. Makers were shocked that i asked for script despite its srk film.. Yes i asked the script n they fulfilled my request ".... Look at the irony what a fabulous role she has choose after reading script of Raees... 😂😂😂😂😂😂... What a pakeezah role she has chosen... That 5min show piece role she did in raees... N look at her attitude i ask them a script... Konsa jhanda ukhaad liya script padke kara toh vahi eye candy 5min role... Hypocrite actress....

tony she probably said that because she didn’t wanna do a role where she had to show a lot of skin, just to say she got cast opposite srk. Cuz that wouldn’t go down well with her religious fanbase back home. Did you expect it to be a women oriented film from the start when it stars srk?? Lol. She played the role of a good Muslim girl even if it wasn’t a long role, people would have been way more mad if she did a longer role but it was an “inappropriate” character. So what’s the problem here

It’s easy for her to say. Like she said her family has given her choice and she obviously belongs to a family, circle of friends and strata of society where people don’t judge your decisions as much. I mean she moved to the States as a teen and lived by herself as a student, she travels by herself, she chooses her partners, dresses how she wants. She has a lot of freewill from her family. Even her most simple choices are considered liberal or very out of touch with wider society. Pakistan is conservative, don’t know why she’s sugar coating it. Of course the government is not as conservative and the laws are not against women completely but the society is strong and pervasive enough for people to act certain ways. What do most people call these actresses? Kanjris and mirasis. I’m not denying people watch them and they have fans, but there is a general negative attachment to modern women and career women. As a working woman in Pakistan forget about media ask a normal working woman in Pakistan and she’ll tell you the difficulties she faces.

He manages to bring the raw side of every celebrity, Indian or from anywhere else. First interview where Mahira Khan after first 2 questions became normal and a delight, not how she over acts in most interviews. However, seriously Pakistani actresses are so conflicted in their answers about philosophies of feminism, I think because they might offend people back home if they speak their trueself.
