A very well knitted interview by Hassan. It really takes a lot of courage to sit infront of such an amazing, talented and heart throbbed actor Mahira Khan. I have never respected her acting journey as much as one would appreciate her acting after watching 'hum kahan k sachy thy' and 'aik hy niggar'. She has become a seasoned actor who has given so much to Pakistani entertainment industry. A thorogh actor who gas proven her skills on screen and out of screen For the first time, i have seen her defending herself for the very first time. That's so important because in today's world everyone is opinionated but when it comes to celebrities, they always played it safe either by keeping quiet or by completely ignoring on screen to show thet have thick skin. But it was so satisfying to see Mahira Khan firmly standing with her characterisations and being unapologetic about it. I totally agree with her when she firmly and unapologetically acknowledged her characters.

This interview was much awaited. Hats off to Mahira Khan. She is a wonderful lady cuz she speaks her heart and doesn't do cheap stunts in any of her interview just to get the PR. How Sad of those who take on her name jst to get the high ratings. She has done amazing job with Nigar and mehreen both characters. But this is also true that the story of HKKT doesn't make sense at many points. Indeed, it is sad reality and exists in many of the families in our society. But again, we expect from our writers that they should write great & courageous women roles to fight the barriers they face in their lives. This way our women will get more strength & inspiration to move forward in their lives. If u want to bring positive change in our society, first show that how it looks like to be.. ❤✌ People become that what they see on media. shehr e zaat is the serial that made me fall in love with Mahira. She is the gem of the industry and those to say she can't act or she's too old or whatever the hell they say they have no eye for art and the actual performance. She is the best not only as actor but as a human. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I am not a die-hard fan of hers but when she got emotional, I felt like telling her how loved she is by her fans. Hope she does not forget that while she deals with negativity. Internet is a nasty place, I see so many of these famous people now getting to a point where it's too much to bear. I had seen Shahrukh Khan saying something similar in one press conference that "jisko b kuch kehna hota hai meray naam say keh deta hai". I would also suggest to Hassan that he should not be afraid to show his human side when a guest pours her/his heart out. God bless her.

She's a pure soul, that's why that innocence is still oozing out of her personality. This is rare in an actor of her experience and calibre.

I am so happy Mahira shared truths and put clarifications out. It is important to make statements because a lot of things are said at her expense and used through her name. Wishing her success. She is highly accomplished and she needs to be celebrated.

1:07:21 this sums up my feelings about this drama pretty well, so thank you Hassan! Another flaw is how Saffan casually exits the situation by acting completely out of character. It’s just like what Azkas brother does in Ishq e laa. He’s so loving and trusts his sister yet he doesn’t bat an eye to his wife’s words and arranges the wedding. Azka was clearly upset and because of the bond she has with her brother, he should have believed her, but he doesn’t because the drama had to move on. We called it out in Ishq e laa, and we should definitely call out this flaw in HKKST when Saffan, an extremely loving and caring person in Mehreens life casually exits because of one mishap at the engagement. The same guy didn’t even ask Mehreen if she’s innocent because he loved and trusted her THAT much. This to me is nothing but a flaw in writing. People do change, but not this suddenly and drastically - in both cases I’ve mentioned it was unfortunately done by the writer to move the drama forward.

I haven’t ever been a fan of Mahira the actor, as I always thought she was more natural as a VJ, but one thing I will say is; the way she so beautifully mentioned how she got Raees without throwing direct shade at Iman Aly (who claims she was ‘offered’ it first) is the reason she is Mahira Khan the superstar. She’s dignified and measured in the way she presents herself and that is her true success.

Some things are indefensible. Her outfit was extremely inappropriate as she was practically naked, something that goes against her girl next door image. People will always bring it up because they got a glimpse of what her reality is, as opposed to the decent Pakistani girl image they had made up of her in their own minds.

I wish more people talked about her role from Sadqay Tumhary, she was insanely good as Shano.

Mahira , this is how what Cary Grant, respond to criticism, peoples who have less to do criticize others, so thank God, that you are blessed with great work, keep going, do not look down at these trolls in Pakistani show bizz, and just toxic trolls! Always. ❤ The way interviewer asked the questions gracefully, maintaining his stand, not letting go off and knowing when to change the question or ask another related to it though was simply amazing. I LOVE HASSAN SIR! Loved what he said about the “ flaw” in writing of Hum Kahan ke! Totally nailed it by saying this. Brilliant interview. Also, Mahira QUEEN KHAN! Jaan. Mahira was right about most things in this one this time. Also, I can see her being emotional and that is how it should be. About work and everything. Not too emotional but emotional. Anything for her! I’m her fan and not only for her work but just the way she is! I wish I knew her personally too but ma’am, you are the best. 💋✨

The whole issue with HKKST is that they have materially changed the drama from the novel. Aswad and Mehreen never loved each other in the novel. It was hatred and rivalry between them. So maybe it was just easier to understand the novel. It got all complicated when they made mehreen fall in love with Aswad in the drama

I love the bond she shares with her family and relatives. Tells a lot about a person. I have always been a fan of Mahira since the VJ times and she has never disappointed with any of her performance. I really don't understand the negative feedback for Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay because it's a story, there had to be a plot to build the story on and it happened. As Mahira said 'it's not a love story' which is 100% true. It is hard for the viewers to see a male and female character beyond the 'hero' 'heroin' title because thats all what we usually get from the dramas. Alwayss more power to Queen Khan

I think Hassan you hv done a great interview of Mahira...I hv seen some interviews of her .... But this one she has really opened up ...she is a Super actress ...I like her work....luckily I hv watched all her hit Dramas and movies although I live in Gulf...in Hum kahan ke sache....she has given her best...I cried with her...
