    @@supersonic177 this is a really difficult question. I can honestly recommend all 3 of your choices. The Chery and Mahindra probably offer a bit more boot space if only used as 5 seaters. My best advice is for your to go and test drive all 3 and then decide which just feels right to you when you're behind the wheel

    thanks. I would of loved a new fortuner or everest but the pricing is just ridiculous. I managed to narrow it down to the Chery and Mahindra. I will test drive them again and play around with the gadgets. The engine performance figures on paper shows a 90nm torque advantage for the Mahindra VS the tiggo 8 1.6l. Based on your test drive, did you feel the power difference .Tough decision for sure. Appreciate the response.

    Personally i will never buy petrol for a car this size unless it is a naturally aspirated v6. Best is to go diesel and even then anything below a 2.2l is a waste of money. From experience the 2.2 Mhawk engines are quite good but you still need to keep your eyes on it. Auto boxes are out. Period. Nice vehicle though. Mahindra is quickly and I mean very quickly taking a big munch of the market

    I bought an XUV700 after watching reviews like yours and others. But what you guys did not pick up was the performance of the infotainment system. In todays world, the digital technology matters just as much as the mechanics. You guys need to review this properly before making recommendations. The XUV700 Android Auto keeps crashing every 10 minutes to the point its not useable. You have to pull over and stop&start the car for the infotainment system to restart. The bluetooth car phone has very poor voice quality. These things matter and you need to test this. And also they say wireless Android Auto in the brochure, but as soon as you ask them to add Apple Carplay, the Android Auto then only works in wired connection (it looses the wireless capability). Mahindra does not respond when you complain about the Android Auto issues because they know their software is crap. #MahindraSA #mahindrasouthafrica #mahindraxuv700 #xuv700

  • @smonsingh
    @smonsingh10 ай бұрын

    It no more has wireless auto android. With the software update that feature head been removed and is a big let down. The tech features have been watered down so much from the ones in India that a otherwise competitive car is now far behind on competition. A total mess up by Mahindra SA.
