😂 Mahindra believes in playing gimmick with pricing with every product of theirs. Generally none of the lower models are worth buying because of missing basic features. Check out XUV 300 as well...same story...even top model doesn't come with parcel tray...lower models are pathetic.

Please make a comparison between (base variants & top variant ) of 5-seat XUV700 and harrier as well as between 7 seat XUV700 and safari . Mahindra launching XUV700 @12.5 lakhs makes it look cheaper than safari even though entry level variants are 5 seater and more comparable to harrier Safari base starts @Rs.15 lakhs where as XUV700 -7seater base model starts @Rs.15.70lakhs

Basic features like reverse camera, auto ac, auto fold mirrors etc are missing on a 20L plus car. Hard to digest to be frank.

Please make a video comparison for best b2 segment hatchbacks like polo vs i20 vs altroz and which one to buy from these options😄

Dnt knw why but i feel mahindra hasnt worked properly on which model should b given which features and at what price point...and one small feature very small feature front and back moving 2nd row seats...even ertiga is giving this feature..so why not in xuv700

that’s missing in every variant that mahindra should rectify in its update are - mx - sensible as per price and size but safety features like esp , traction control etc should be from base variant as in rivals ax3 - rear camera , sliding second row seats and auto ac ax5 - cruise control , push button start ax7 - auto dimming irvm, ( ventilated seats that’s optional )

Agree rear parking camera is most basic feature still it isnt available in ax5.

M&M should have non sunroof version of AX5 with ESP, rear view camera, push button start

If budget is not issue, go for diesel. 200 BHP Petrol engine would be less fuel efficient.

Between those two, probably XUV base. Although I would avoid both altogether and instead go for a well spec-ed cSUV.

ESP is available in AX5 except petrol manual

Yeahhh bro , thats the problem . Overall no segment looks perfect for me unless top models which are expensive for me . Basic features should have been given instead of style related features .

Your job is to specifying the features not to control the choices. You tell what's the features and buyers will go as their needs.

VERY Disappointing that Mahindra still considers ESC (electronic stability control) to be a luxury instead of a basic safety necessity. Kudos to Tata for giving ALL safety features right from the start of the variant e.g. Nexon/Harrier/Safari. Tata is truly concerned about the people and not just money crunching, like our friendly neighborhood twitterati, Mr. Mahindra.
