Maheshwar is an ancient town in Madhya Pradesh. It is also being mentioned in the Ramayana and Mahabharata. It is situated on the banks of river Narmada.
It had been the ancient capital of the ancient kingdom of Avanti. Ruled by different dynasties from the Mauryan period, Parmara dynasty, Delhi Sultanate, Mughals, Marathas.
My short film is my personel journey on the river Narmada. I have tried to showcase the important places which i observed on my boat journey i took up on the river Narmada.
