Just bought this. For those of you worried about the fact that the inserts and washers are 3D printed: it’s not an issue. I can’t think of a single scenario where the spacers would be prone to losing their structural integrity. Like the creator said in the video, I also cannot get this thing to move down no matter how much downward cheek pressure I put on it. Replacing the 3D printed parts with metal would not improve performance or reliability even a little, in my experience

Super intrigued. I have a PTR91 and this would be good for converting to an AR stock (which drops the cheek weld too low IMO and is something spuhr addressed in a pricey manner lol). Wonder how this would work in that application.

Thanks for watching & the comment. I won't be making metal slot adapters. The adapters that come with this Kit help keep it in place with its rubbery texture & are very tightly fitted in the slots.

Do you know if this would be compatible with any of the other magpul stocks that have indentations for cheek risers, like the DT Carbine and DT PR stocks? The indentations don't go through all the way to the buffer tube like they do on the CTR, but they seem to be sufficient for mounting the magpul fixed cheek risers.

Great Question. Like the video shows, the Slot adapters need to go inside the stock as well as the nut... So... thinking 🤔 💭 You could cut out the slot area for my kit to work... possibly. Not sure what the inside looks like. Or just drill a tiny hole for the screw to fit through with the nut on the inside... again not sure how the inside looks & if there's that little bit of space for the nut. Looking at getting one of these for the same stock as doing this will save me from having to drop $150+ on one of those precision stocks. Yes, it does. If you adjust the stock far enough back it works great... collapsed it won't work of course.
