Great vid, Lex!
Magnus nailed it, it’s impressive that he has that understanding so early. Like does AK go 3 streets here? Maybe for this size. But really, I think he’s saying that he has some sort of KK/99/KTs type hand and that’s it. So the three street story doesn’t make a lot of sense. Nick may not have many bluffs. But he really doesn’t need to at the price he’s setting. But this is two people are different points on the learning curve. Nick didn’t recognize that this is a polar situation and chose a small size. Maybe he had decent reasons (like choosing a size that looks like he has aces). But when you don’t have a lot of value, you kind of have to go huge.
Great video!! Would be awesome to see your analysis of Robbi vs Garret famous hand!

Can you review the rampage AK snap call on hustlers vs nik airball
chess is a profitable hobby for me as well and just came to poker a few months back. The thing about this hand tho, i have 43s, no blockers at all and i get 4bet. I'd also call to see the flop. flop comes, I hit a 4 but there is also a king. Yes, I have a lot of kings but so does the 4bet range no? I don't know what happened earlier but our hand beats only bluffs and I'd feel real stupid if my opponent shows AKo on the river. Great read! If this was online and we dont know the opponent, this is probably a fold after turn bet or perhaps on the river?

I know I compared this series to what Doug is doing, but that honestly wasn't fair :D Its super nice how you're mixing in old AND new stuff; also no drama! Great content Also noticed you're trying out the no music thing! Felt weird at first but really not so bad. Fine with either

Yeah I mean more people review hands, everyone is just doing it their own way you know. Everyone has a different tone. If every youtuber would discuss the same hands that came out, it's still good! People can just choose what they like.

When are we gonna see your debut on HCL??
Very cool episode! Thank you Lex
you should rename this format to Lex Reflexs
Magnus learned that hair style from Nepo so he is also a slav. Personally I would even shove that river if I'm going to bluff it but much better would be to c bet and check/fold turn and river. We have little value hands and lots of draws with high cards.
¨NICK LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY KICK HIS PUPPY" LOL HAHAHAHAHAHHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA WHAT A GREAT COMMENT!!!
Magnus was implying that he is so low in his range he knew this hand is a fold in theory and also that Nick’s line makes little sense. I get what your saying but I think you missed that Magnus sees both sides. His understanding of poker theory is pretty high. Every time he thought out loud Mariono was shocked how much he knew.

I actually think Nick's line makes perfect sense. With his bet sizes he could have AA KK AK KQ 99 and with very small turn bet possibly even TT. So I don't think triple barreling makes little sense there. He has an insanely strong range.
Hey dit kanaal is gewoon Nederlands, leuk 👍
:D Swedish blood lets go
Damn!
Nick could certainly have more value hands than just AK that want to go for three streets. I think his sizing really hurt him in the hand.

On the river, what if Nick had a hand like AK or KQ, would he still want to polarize and bet big? Or would he bet a smaller amount like he did?
@lacanau8881

all in
Love you Lex, But the fact that M has lots of strong hands on this board makes this small river bet super bluffy.. First of all, if he's super strong (sets), he's likely to bet way bigger than this, so he's really repping a thin(ish) value bet like AK, which I don't know if amateur players would bet 100% of the time there.. So there's a lot of bluffs in his range compared to his value.. At least, that's how I read what Magnus is saying when thinking outloud.. If I'm missing something, please say because that's how I think about the game too when I play with amateur players lol 😅 Thanks for the content !
