Whenever Sagar commentates a game you know it's going to be good.

Come late 2 min but after playing a little bit, Magnus has 8 mins more than his opponents and also winning. The GOAT!!!

The unhurried routine after coming to the board late is the power move that assaults the opponents mental stability.

I love the message behind this but in reality as much as I love Magnus, which who I’m fascinated by truly , this is terrible sportsmanship. Let’s imagine both of them want to play that mental game. They’ll be no game to watch. Every game would be delayed by lateness . It’s just sloppy. There’s a schedule for a reason. I’m a Magnus fanboy I’m just being honest

It's very difficult to beat magnus. He thinks many moves ahead than the opponents. He just reads the opponents minds😂... What a stunning finish..Just GOAT things😊

That is why he is always late for a game and not just against this gentleman but against top elite GM too. He just knows his stuff very well. Cagnus Marlsen to win the Fide Rapid and Blitz this year as well

I have seen Magnus being late a few times but credit to Petrosian for trying to stop the arbiter from starting the game without Magnus.

I missed this guy's commentary, the best chess commentary, without a doubt

Nobody really understands how exciting the play by play is but I do and it like watching fast pace thought process of many variables with continuous repercussions... Luv it

My entire career was played with Interstitial Cystitis (1981 Connecticut State Champion. USCF Master Title 1983, 2016 Florida Senior State Champion) I was always late to the Board. 3-5 minutes think time per move then off to the bathroom again. I guess in order for being late to the Board to be important, one must be a World Champion.

This was the best game for understanding and listening to Sagar, I could really follow a little bit what was going on and see how the pawn storm disintegrated thanks to Magnus amazing position playing. The only annoying thing about these video is that end sponsors. I despise computer software companies proposing the same sht as what already exist but with a political variation, we all know it's worthless and does not deserve to exist.

Tigran L. Petrosian was born on 17 September 1984 Interestingly a born a month after the ex-World champion died.

Tigran Petrosian died in 1984

I was fortunate living in St Louis when Magnus was not yet World Champ and observing him showing up increasingly later and later to even Pre-event pix sessions with the likes of Vishy, Topolov, Naka, Caruana, Ponomariov and others. One time I saw Rex Sinquefield (who funded these events) have to head across the street with event staff to apparently raise Carlson from bed…15 minutes later Carlson came walking rapidly alone to the chess center..looking forward unhappy with the whole set of proceedings. Thus, his tardiness to these more recent tourneys is, in my opinion, mostly just poor form and not a good example for youngsters. I wish, as best chess player ever, he’d show more respect for this opponents. It’s totally unnecessary to pull these hostile arrogant stunts at this point in his career. Sad as he could easily choose to be pleasant and gentlemanly.

Its actually very disrespectful and I'm sure he knows he's late. The opposition are clearly unnerved by this.

Why not? He is a very strong 2600+ GM. After the second day he is on 43th position, ahead of Anish Giri for example.

We all agree that Magnus is the GOAT in chess. But I think the way he treated his opponent was inappropriate, it seemed a bit dismissive. It was proven that he was often deliberately late for a match. Magnus has no respect for his opponents and the game.

Magnus likes to toy with his victims, like a lion...Tigran Petrosian looks young though. Wasnt he champion in 1850?😅
