Here in the commentary, winning means the situation in getting under control by Magnus. Somehow with that move he controls Hikaru's attack and moves on to think how to proceed to the next.

Hikaru went for killer blow. He sacrificed way too many pieces in the process. But somehow it didn’t work. Now, if Hikaru came back to play on, it would b a disaster for him as he was so many pieces down. At that point, Draw is his best way out.

Mag seatting position is cool calculating mode where hekaru is thinking mode so both are same & draw this game.

This dude's commentary is world class😅

I like how Ian tries to school Magnus and Hikaru and gets immediately shut down lol

He commented way too high pitch, showing he considered these two to be the top highest players. Hikaru disapointed me when he was over a minute ahead on the clock but took 1 minute to make the next move when the game was even and there was no pressure yet as if he wanted to sabotage his own time, i think he has an inferiority complex. I am not a seasoned Chess player i follow these battles on comments and facial expression and tell you what it's still fascinating. The game shows that nerves are important especially in Blitz. I was surprised by myself that i was siding with Hikaru, i thought i didn't like his blazé Las Vegas corny style but somehow i have a soft spot for him being an underdog.
