It looks like they went back to the 35mm film and properly scanned it, looks excellent.

This is how the remake series should've sounded. It was way, way too short. This version is what we love about Magnum PI. Tom Selleck too lol.

This show is such an amazing classic! Clean and Fun for the Whole Family! Better than most of today's garbage primetime TV programming such as that garbage stupid dirty Station 19 show. Tom Selleck is a great actor in Magnum PI, Blue Bloods, and other shows. The 80s are the best!

Good morning, all true, as in almost all series of the time you can see how the dialogues are free of vulgarity and Magnum's narration methods during the films were an added value. Not to mention Higgins' aristocratic and biting comments. A series to be enjoyed with the family

I absolutely love the original theme tune. When Thomas takes the top off the Ferrari am I the only one to realise he just dumped it on the ground😉😉

I have Magnum on Blu-Ray, wich is 1080P, so after copy the files to my computer, I use a software to upscale to 4K. So its not real 4K, only upscaled. But it looks good.

Hey Buck .... did you start with the new Mill Creek blu ray or the UK version that has been out for some time? I'm nervous about the Mill Creek edition as it's 30 discs when the UK edition was 37.... have you compared?

Hi there, The reviews has been good, surprisingly, but im not sure if anyone has made a comparison video. Its been released on Blu-Ray 3 times now. But im happy with the UK version though. Every release has its flaws with some crossover episodes missing etc.

@@buckgreene6908 I purchased the Mill Creek set and A B'd them with the UK set... and shockingly the Mill Creek set (while it does cut the pilot into two episodes sadly) is WAY Better than our previous sets.. color timing is fantastic in comparison... richer skin tones.... skies... eyes... just blows away the previous set and on 7 less discs.. I can't understand how.

The UK is much better, Mill Creek's compression / encode sucks (extreme artifacts).
