Magnolia Electric Co. - Live at BottleTree in Birmingham, AL (Full Concert HD)

Magnolia Electric Co.'s first official release was a live album called Trials and Errors, followed by a studio album titled What Comes After The Blues and an EP, Hard To Love a Man, all three released in 2005. In 2006, Molina released two more records: the sparse solo "Let Me Go, Let Me Go, Let Me Go" and the more conventional "Fading Trails", with Magnolia Electric Co., the latter culled from three separate sessions over the past year.

I love Jason with all my heart .. I'm sad that he died from drinking . I mean I've been trying to drink myself to death for about 45 years. Guess I'm not trying hard enough.... He seems totally on the ball always to me . I only discovered him a year ago and now he is a big part of my life.... I'm writing again , mainly because of Jason . Because he shows that you should say what you have to say . He's gone , but not forever . Nobody is . Love to all .

You mean envious of his efficiency at doing it, at least in an abstract sense? I hear that. About 55 years for me. Apparently I'm lousy at it.

Molina's voice paired with his incredible lyrics, is just perfection. I was lucky enough to see Magnolia Electric Co perform back in 2006, and it was definitely one of the best shows I've ever been to. I'd listen to What Comes After The Blues on repeat, and then quickly fell in love with everything he wrote. Rest in peace J.A.M. Such awesome music!

Jason recorded Let Me Go, Let Me Go, Let Me Go in 2004 then released it over 2 years later in 2006, and same with his other solo album Pyramid Electric Co he recorded that in 2001 then released it in 2004 so during the Magnolia years he didn't record other albums.
