It's a big shame that the Philippines will never have anything like this 緊急地震速報 ( _Kinkyū Jishin Sokudō_ ) Japanese Early Earthquake Warning Alert system on our TVs and radios like this. Even now, Phivocs and our TV stations does nothing when there are earthquakes. We have no idea what strength earthquakes are and many don't know what to do, even after earthquake drills. We could have learned so much from Japan, but corruption and shortsightedness means we didn't implement much.

It is a part of the Philippines transitioning to Digital TV I guess once the Analog TV has been officially shutdown in 2023 they will start to deploy and activate the Emergency Warning Broadcast System specially the Early Earthquake Warning System, and other Emergency System under the J-Alert, since our Digital TV is a Japanese Based Digital Terrestrial TV (ISDB-T) I've seen the government tested it last 2018 sa Davao they had a demo here kzread.info/dash/bejne/oomTl7ime6XcoJM.html

They do. However it is unknown if it is fake or real. There is a possibility it is real, but people who researched the alarm found it as a mock.
