Hello, Thanks so much for all the instructive videos you've done already and the content you shared with us :) You have already helped me so much understanding the theory behind subjects which seems difficult at first sight. But your explanations are always so clear, straight forward and tbh, this is the best way to understand. This video is the perfect example! Would it be possible do one video related to the electrical circuit within an aircraft and its relating components? (DC/AC gen, CSD/IDG, shunt generator etc.) That would be really helpful and interesting! Thanks a lot in advance, and wish you the best, Cheers, Elise

.... A circuit diagram of the coil windings and exact connection of the points is required .I'm contending that the collapse of the field is for the primary windings and the secondary windings step up the voltage generated in the primary but without a layout we can't delve further .

Hello can alternator act as magneto? And how wuld I prevent shock tought chassis ground? Is there any posibility to use capacitor banks instead lead acid baterry if so how to protect lead acid baterry to be effected be ac ? Im looking for old magneto ignition system . But I dont understand how they manage not to get shocked. Can alternator winding be placed in series ore pararel configuration with ignition coil ? If so wuld still ignition module work inside destributor with ac electricity? I mean wuld the ignition coil still operate more ore less normaly ?
