@@unholywarrior9007 Magneto's suit from what I see is made of a super-fine chain mail, for all we know he's channeling is magnetism thru the suit that he's wearing to actually support the weight of the man he's holding and it's the added benefit it makes him look that much more imposing. So for Magneto to do this (at this point it headcanon) isn't out of character for him

@jasondavis2995 I don't have a problem with Magneto lifting 500 tins with his psychic powets but a world War elderly man can't pick up people with one arm . First off he is too skinny he would tip over 2end he is too old . He might as well go be a cage fighter at 270 since he is stronger then most of them

They think they are pure because they know they were purified in the 1940's and are biggest proponents of not letting it go to waste. You just called it TRUTH that IF Palestinians were tagged like registered mutants instead of tapped behind te security of NOBODY knowing their names, that wold be the oppression "homo superior" can't handle. Magneto is a genocide, no ifs, ands, ors, buts, no rebuttal, that's exactly what he wants to do. The x-men are trying to have a status quo, something where both species can survive and thrive and share the world, Magneto wants to erase humanity and take the world. And the thing is that, by acting like he does, Magneto justifies the haters, because how can you be peaceful to mutants when there's a guy who can rip out your blood or throw down meteorites and explicitly says he wants to eliminate all of your species(not just you, not just your family or your country, all of the people who are biologically like you)? The whole idea of Magneto is that despite suffering the h0l0caust, he embraces their methods because he's too hurt and afraid that it will repeat, he didn't learn empathy for the humns that saved him but he learned hatred for the humans that tortured him.

Just for the record. He killed the first guy with the nail. The second guy he killed with his own fillings from his teeth. You can see the fillings floating around his finger in one of the last panels before he says bang. That is also why he takes a moment to point out that the guys mouth was full of metal fillings in the dialog. It's a small detail but it makes the scene so much better.

Fun Fact: You would need to produce the magnetic field more powerful than a Magnetar... Yes, a star remnant... to pull the iron from blood. Why? Iron that is in blood is not ferric iron, and is not magnetic. If Magneto had produced a magnetic field capable of pulling the iron from the person in the beginning? Even highly localized? He'd have ended the Earth, immediately.

Magneto, when written well is one of the most compelling "villains" in comics. He hates anyone who disagrees with his ideology and methods even his own kind.

One of things that has kept me ingaged with the xmen is the conversations between Xavier and magneto. I think writers for xmen comics know when it comes to creating dialog for these two, they have to be on their A game.

Imagine a What If story of Charles and Magneto where their childhoods were switched. Charles in the camps instead. Would he still go the same route? Magneto has so much of his motivation coming from what he witnessed as a prisoner of WW2 in the camps and sees mutants as modern day Jews from WW2
