    Very clever. I am all about those thin walls! Getting terrain and scatter and NPCs and monsters you need all the space you can spare. Some things realism is great but wall players mind will fill in the blanks on depth.

    Very interesting stuff! Not a fan of high walls in a TTRPG but gave me some good inspiration! Just a tip if you don't want to waste citadel wash: to give (wall) paper an aged look you can also use tea or coffee (no additives like sugar) and make sure it dries completely, of course. Thanks for your hard work!

    Love the hand stamp idea. Have you thought of trying to make one out of foam (ready-board). The soft texture may help the application. Softer like a real hand. Might hold paint better & when applying it may get in to the unsmooth texture of walls, floors, etc. more easily. Looks good on smooth flat paper. Thanks for sharing :)

    28mm is about 1:52. However most models are now made in a "Heroic" scale, about 30mm , which is close to 1:48. So 1:48, or model train O scale, will work just fine.

    I love the setup, I'm just starting to use magnets and I was curious if you were to sculpt quarter round columns to connect two walls at a 90 degree angle, what would be the best orientation for the magnet in the column or would it be better to just use two off set magnets?

  • @TabletopWitchCRAFT

    @TabletopWitchCRAFT

    You might have an issue with the polarity of the two magnets in the column due to the close proximity of them. Sounds cool tho… got it a try.

    @@TabletopWitchCRAFT quick follow up. 1 tiny 6x3mm magnet mounted horizontal ( perpendicular to both walls ) was strong enough to keep the pieces in place. So joining 2 sections of walls at angles with a single magnet is a go,. Thanks again for the ideas, great channel, love your work!

    Wouldn't edging the bottom of the walls with magnetic tape (and painting the edges of the magnetic tape to blend it with the wall surface (i.e. stone, wood, etc.) allow you to use the walls without having to use scatter terrain objects to prop them up?

  • @TabletopWitchCRAFT

    That’s a cool idea to try, but I find that the magnetic tape really isn’t that strong. I’ve had some cool ideas that I tried using the tape on and they failed.

    Have you considered mat board? It’s a little denser than regular cardboard and takes more pressure to carve out but you can use an xacto or utility knife to create grooves. It might take a couple passes to get a good line in with a sharp blade but you can follow a second time with a butter knife to make the lines a bit wider..also Amazon stocks foam board Also...if you do use cardboard you can add texture by adding cheap drywall spackle..meant for filling in holes in the walls- even dollar store stock it and the cheap stuff works better than the expensive stuff in my opinion 👍🏻

    @@Xirdnehynnej I have even less idea where to get mat board from. I don't know if the Amazon UK prices for foam core good? I mean the most common price I see is £20 ($28ish) for x16 5mm A3 sheets. Which doesn't seem great to me. Spackle (though its not called that in the uk) is only good for one type of texture though. I like foam because it can be made to look like various materials, like wood, stone, brick and more. I appreciate the input, but I'm British... So we don't have dollar stores. Though my local quid shop probably has a small tub of all purpose filler. But like I said, I prefer the idea of foam core because it can be given various textures.

    Not really "dungeon" walls. But the real issue is that you need to have a thing to support each wall, which would be very unlikely in a dungeon. Also, walls are a bit fiddly and not a clean connection. I am a fan of your work and like the look of these walls for other purposes. But sorry to say these "dungeon" wall fail
