Hi I just found your channel and am excited to try this recipe! I tried a different one and the magnesium separated from the lotion..it had water drops..any idea why this happens?

Preservative is needed with a water based product. I'm sure you know this but i would pin a comment so folks are aware if they want to make it. Great video!

Actually the magnesium oil acts as a brine & therefore acts like a preservative. This cream should be good for 6 months to a year depending on climate and room temperature......but I'm sure you knew that😊

My magnesium cream has proven to be very stable over time, and I've had no issues with separation. The combination of ingredients used, including the addition of beeswax work together to maintain the cream's consistency. I've been using this recipe for a long time without any separation. If you follow the guidelines I provided, you should enjoy a consistently effective product.

So I did follow the steps. Buuut it seems like there's a trace of water showing up after each blitz. I did 1/4 cup of water. Is it supposed to have a tiny bit of water trace in the butter?

I'm curious... you you melt the magnesium directly in the oil and thus would eliminate the use of water? Then you would no linger need the EO for preserving. Carnauba or candelilla wax can replace beeswax in a my magnesium cream recipe, but consider their melting points and textures. Experiment with quantities to achieve the desired consistency and texture, as carnauba wax is harder, so you might use slightly less, while candelilla wax is softer, so you might use a bit more.

Removing both water and preservative from my formulation would significantly impact the cream. Without water, the consistency would become much thicker, making it less spreadable and potentially affecting its absorption into the skin. The absence of a preservative increases the risk of microbial contamination, reducing the shelf life. The water plays a crucial role in maintaining the desired consistency, stability, and effectiveness of my emulsion, ensuring proper absorption and preventing potential issues such as separation. Well when your getting ready to apply it if it was made without water couldn't you just apply it while your wet out of the shower? That way your not having to use the preservatives and the water from your body will help it blend into the skin better~ Just a thought 😊

What about storing the product in the fridge?

I tried it, but the magnesium will not incorporate into the oils and butters. Very flaky.

It's possible you made an error in the process. The magnesium flakes should have been thoroughly dissolved before blending with the other ingredients. I'm puzzled by the occurrence of flakiness despite the dissolution of magnesium. Could you clarify what you mean by "flaking"? Many people on KZread have made this with no problems, it should have come out just like mine.

@@beautybooster_diy4848 like you made it 528 gram if I want to add arnica comfrey hemp calendula infused oil how much 10 gram each separately or mix the percentage you told today in 1000 ml n used it's 40 ml in same formulations wt u say ? Or if I want to use 1000 ml infused oil with same herbs infused then how much magnesium sulfate and bees wax should I used to make it cream texture

Yes, I used Magnesium Sulphate flakes (Epsom Salt) in this recipe

Wouldnt this be a butter and not a cream? There is no emulsion

@@waliyyahshaik2094 Yes, I use it for Fibromyalgia and Arthritis and it does help, especially at night, it don't completely get rid of pain but it does give it some relief.
