Shooting from the shadows is probably the most important tip I got from this entire video. So much information. More of these type if videos please! Bring Pye back! He’s such a great educator and photographer. He really knows his lighting.

Great BTS content on how the Magmods were used to achieve the results. The delightfully awkward bromance interaction was just a bonus. lol

Excellent presentation, how interesting with a rather small lighting system creates such a large impact on the final product. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on this subject, and what awesome results that you are able to produce using the perfect setup for such an important day in someone’s life !

I love how much bts we get, however, this video was waaayyyyy too long for how little actual content was in it. Too little talk about using the magmods. All I wanted to see was the four kinds of set ups, see them being used, and a little talk about when its best to use each setup. Don't get me wrong, I love how detailed you guys are...but this video was a little painful to get through.

...nobody teaches this and it's soooo frustrating to me. I know my way around a camera pretty well, but some of these more technical types of tricks and effects are things I still have yet to conquer and really figure out. THANK YOU soooo much for doing this for us!! I would sure give the world for you to also do a couple of videos teaching us how to photograph sparkler exits, light trails with wedding reception dance photos, how to photograph those cigar smoke photos of the guys on wedding day, and how to get that hair spray shot when the bride is getting ready. I'd also love to learn how to do some of those trick photos that so many of you do on wedding days - the reflection, shooting through things, bokeh lights, ring shots with an extra fun flair, etc. A super fun photographer that does a lot of this stuff is Jason Martin with Concept Photography. This guy has some super cool photography tricks and effects and I still have yet to figure out how he does a lot of them.

Color temperature orange. If shooting indoors with tungsten lights already present you can use this gel to match to the tungsten light present. Some folks use a straw colored gel instead of CTO. Just remember to set your white balance to tungsten on your camera.

I’m confused! At 2500kelvin(environment), a CTO gelled flash will be about 3000-3200kelvin. How then is that CTO flash still showing up as a strong orange? Based on the 2500k, that CTO should have it’s orange neutralized and showing up as whitish blue. So, I’m guessing either that kelvin was higher? Say 3500-4000k? Or, that CTO was double CTO’d? 😊GLENABOLUPHOTOGRAPHY😊follow my IG

Great content. It does take this much time to fully explain all of this but the bromance stuff 32:00 41:10 became very unsettling and it was obvious how uncomfortable Trevor was and it showed that he was hesitant in doing anything that would possibly invite more of that. It’s just as inappropriate for a guy to be doing that to a girl as a guy during a professional video such as this. I hope that the wedding course doesn’t take this same path. For those of you about to throw darts at me I have both straight and gay family members and friends. 🤟🏼
