This review started off well. However, ended up leaving out a lot of important information (i.e. how to retrieve recordings, are recordings time stamped, can they be labeled for easy retrieval, actual call recording not shown with another person). Considered purchasing this, not so much anymore. Why would I want to remove the case off of a costly and essential tool?

1) How to retrieve recordings - timestamp 1:36, you have to connect to your PC to retrieve the mp3 files. 2) Files have metadata that includes timestamps when it was recorded. 3) Buy a magsafe compatible case so you can snap Magmo. Respectfully, the questions you have are not "review" based questions, they're how to. It's like me reviewing a bicycle and you have questions how to ride it. Thanks for watching! 🤜🤛

Can the voice recorder work. If you have a phone case on. Most people protect their phones with a phone case, can it work with a protective phone case on your phone.

Will it still work or stick to the phone with a protector on it. Who doesn't have some sort of a phone protector. You should've included that in your review.

It listens to vibrations so the protector or bulky case will definitely affect the performance.
Recording quality seems quite good. Does it record the other parties’ voices too?

It can capture voices from 3rd party if its loud enough that mic can pick up

The call records as mp3 inside this device. it captures both your voice and the other person. to access it, use the cable and drag the files from magmo to a pc (like a USB drive).

@@Nonius9 You are of course correct But at the end of the video He states that it records both parties in conversation So basically it records the entire back and forth telephone conversation Due to the obvious Being that it has a lightning port instead of a USB-C port One automatically knows it's an Apple iPhone workaround JAH BLESS ...

Only problem I am seeing is that this will not work if you have a phone case it's just upsetting that such a simple application on androids is a hassle on iPhone I run a business and need to record phone calls for afor a multitude of reasons and since I swap to iPhone I have had nothing but problems On my old SamsungIt was a simple $8 a month application that recorded directly to my phone storage no 3rd party required no Internet eitherYeah Apple for the same app is 3 times more and requires a 3rd party outbound call to record a conversation off site right I find this to be just totally ridiculous for a for a Tech billionaire company

Based on this and the video on the product's homepage, I am certain the answer is yes. I have the opposite question. Does it record if the speaker is on?
hmm... can't we just record the conversation using the integrated screen recorder with the microphone switched on with the iPhone?

iPhone does not have call recording. I think you need to open voice memo/recorder then use speakers.
Why if hijab have a iphones cover on phone 📱 will it still recover?

@GadgetRevNow I am beginning to consider that Galaxy S22 and S23 SERIES - " NO ( Native ) CALL RECORDER " So the obvious is then to have a reliable external call recording device like the one you review here for iPhone ? Can you recommend something like the magmo for S23 ULTRA ? Because I doubt it has native call recording feature

Cube Recorder for Android works great. Only works with speakerphone but that's fine with me.

Yes unfortunately you have to have the speakerphone turned on as it uses the phone's mic to record. No speaker and it just records your voice. I'm good with that for what I need.

ok, how do you grab the minutes of the recording when you need them. can you exporting the recorded conversation to your pc/laptop. once its full than what? hope taylormade owe your some money.

To export the recording, you need to connect magmo to pc/laptop and grab the recording. you can simply delete files there (again) on pc when its getting full. its like a usb storage too.

That's me recording myself as the "other" person. I called a phone (with magmo). that's the voice of the person you are talking too.
