this is awesome. me and my uncle discovered a massively broken combo, having the cyber robe and both of us spamming lightning bolt, we plowed trough the game in less than an hour. constantly healing 5000 and carpet bombing literally anything around us. its almost a shame speed running it, there are so many fun easter eggs and hilarious dialogue, especially considering the language in game is a mix of various Scandinavian languages, English and gibberish. Both of us being Icelandic with Swedish and Danish as second languages.

I use this spell on melee (second weapon) because I think cast this around myself too dangerus (IK shield what use in pvp - EQFASF, very usefull

Thank you! No, I pressed everything by hand. For many spells the order does not matter, for these I worked how to cast them with the fewest key presses and practised until they were quick (so instead of pressing QRQRQRSS you can do (QSR)(QSR)(QR), using three fingers at the same time).

@@djw_tekken8490 I basically did only a single casual play-through of 2, and it seemed a bit easier to me than 1. Of course, if you have the right strategies, 1 is easy, but that is probably true for most games :)

Magicka 2 is more balanced

Great run. Would be easier to watch with the in game music, though x2 speed on the youtube player does the trick as well.

I looked at the twigs for positioning (they form kind of a rectangle, I try to stand at the bottom right corner) and then put the mouse halfway along the handle of the well. It is difficult (but at the beginning, so easy to restart :) )

@@aru1224 I don't know of something like that in Magicka 1 (though I also don't know what this is, haven't played 2 a lot). Starting with everything unlocked would be interesting! But that would be a different category :)

Philipp C Cool that u still reply on such an old vid! The water mine in M2 utilities the push-properties of water. You cast health, shield and water and place the mines in front of you. Then, you cast 1 earth and 4 water. You cast it on yourself while walking on the mines. Both in combination make you fly incredible distances. Maybe that would work too in M1!

@@aru1224 Interesting, maybe I'll have to play some Magicka 2 again! I think some faster ways to use mines in Magicka 1 are similar to what you describe, but I don't know exactly how they work.

I guess you are referring to the thing at around 26:44 ? I just tested it on the most recent patch and it seems to work still. You need the Knife of Counter-Striking (14:36), EDQRQRQR (edited, thanks!) and Haste (ASF) and then you deal moderate damage to enemies by running into them.

(This happens at 3:43.) This trick is nice (and not invented by me). Once you see the spot Big J is going to appear in, you put down water-healing-mines (QWE) and shield from water (EQ). The mines make Big J wet, but not you, and they are healing mines, so no knockback. The positioning is key, you want to stand directly below Big J's head (which is, after all, the weak spot). Then you drop some stone onto *yourself*, but they hit Big J instead. (This is some good 3D thinking, which is helpful against Khan also.) In particular, you do DR, for freezing, then DQRQRQRQR for maximum damage until deadness is achieved.
