Yes, he is big, but was bigger in the 90s and early 2000s. He's a decent magician but a really good comedian, even a poet, he's always kind in his jokes, never like today where it's all about roasting as much as possible. He does a lot of his own thing, a bit of wizardry, a bit of comics, a bit of poetry and often it can even be a bit deep and thoughtful at times. Now he is 55 years old but has always looked younger than he is.

Yes the biggest thing with Carl-Einar Häckner is his heart. The only one he is making fun of is himself and he is really good at that, never roasting anyone but himself. He is a decent magician but his timing and his performance are better than his tricks, so I totally agree with you he was becoming big because of much more than the tricks he does. Joe Labero is a better magician but I prefer watching Häckner everyday as he is a lot funnier.

He was very big when I was a kid in the 90s, not so much now!

I would say that he is quite well known in Sweden but is not among the Swedish comedian elite, but he has been around for a long time and has appeared in several TV series and many own stage shows both in Sweden and in other countries (mostly Germany). He is quite a skilled conjurer and mixes it with comedy, but he is also poetic and has written some poetry.

He used to be really big - and loved - in Sweden but moved to Berlin many years ago and therefore more or less disappeared from the Swedish stages. Now he shares his time between Berlin and Göteborg and have announced a new stageshow in October 2024. No doubt we'll see a lot more of him now for which I for one am so glad. He was born 1969.

He was swedens sexiest man one year :) He was huge in the 90s. He had a play I thought were hilarious, Janssons Frestelser, which I watched several times, thanks to recording it to VHS :D

He avtually does more like ”varite’”. With comic, singing, magic and so on, interacting a lot with his audiens. I worked as a tehnician where he used to perform a loooong time ago. He is a very kind man, but a little …different. Not different in a bad way. 😊
