Bill performed at the resort where I worked. He stood at my bar for about an hour doing tricks. I was kind of looking right over his shoulder, and he was amazing. As close as I could be, and I couldn't see anything he was doing. Real nice guy too.

Bill Malone is honestly a beast. He might used trick cards but he is a top notch performer. I wanna see him try to fool Penn and Teller.

He only uses gaffed cards in a few things he does. Everything else is top-notch slight of hand and unbelievable presentation. Method doesn't matter. It's the impact you create that matters.

  • @in_vas_por8810

@@jeffgray7922 I mean, I think the method does matter because if I do a bunch of stuff but I'm using gaffed props or w/e on EVERY single one... it kind of takes away from the authenticity of the magic. Thats like me cheating in a competitive video game but saying it's not the method, but the impact/wow factor that matters. That undermines the guys who don't cheat. Make sense? As I said though, Bill is a legend.

That was the funniest presentation of the Invisible Deck I've ever seen! And people think Dynamo's version is good lol. These kids need to start finding out who Tommy Wonder, Del Ray, Michael Ammar, Bill Malone, and the whole L&L Club are. Then they might realize what crap TV magic really is! (I know L&L doesn't have any Del Ray stuff but it'd be cool if they did right?)

yes the spectator to his left is a repeat spectator [david]. In the 1st couple of L&L vids he was a natural, probably an employee like other repeat spectators in L&L vids. He was genuinely amazed as anyone would be when front row watching L&L magicians. However, his natural reactions got a shot of reality show stardom with the same sincerity of spectators in early Blaine TV shows. Then it became schtick. He became a character who thought he was part of the act. He started to overdress. I think in a few of the later vids, including this one, he is a distraction. I believe in one review of a video it was mentioned the guy got out of hand with his over-zealousness. L&L had a good idea with a cooperative yet naive audience instead of the solo instructional vids at the time but they let this guy become too noticeable.

When you are annoyed by the mustache man, you're not really into magic, cause if you do, you're eyes would follow every move of the magician. When that guy started a riffle shuffle with the invicible deck; "You gotta take it out of the box first.

Excuse me but I'm also annoyed but his guy on the first row. He is overreacting all the time or he is drunk... Or both! Bill Malone is great, of course, but this guy is like a extra misdirection, because you can miss all the tricks.
