I recently found your channel and all the times I tried to do the work but kept failing but now I have the Magic Trail video done now its time to move to the next project.

Great tutorial, gradient maps have far more use than i gave them credit for. At the start my guess for the method was to use a soft brush with fade/opacity jitter painting in black and white combined with soft light layers slightly offset from each other, colored with a hue/saturation layer. But the control this method gives and end result is far superior. Thanks =)
