That's the main thing with a lot of these tricks, fooling the audience into thinking the magician is the one doing it. Most of the "tricks" are either slight of hand, "we hired some twins," "There's a rope that's hard to see," or "turns out girls can fit into surprisingly small boxes."

The door trick is really impressive. It is simple, yet the timing and angles have to be perfect so that no one catches you running. It is this finesse that makes magicians great performers

Ever seen the movie with Keanu Reeves called Knock Knock? If you haven't seen that movie, after you have it may make you reconsider who you open your door to...hot as hell or not. 😏 And obviously Knock Knock is a movie but the plot is at least somewhat plausible.

Only it's limited to TV, not stage performance. I'm always more sceptical when it comes to TV magic when you can only see what the camera sees

Have to acknowledge the dexterity of the mystery mage to do sleight of hand wearing gloves

No matter how many times I watch this I always miss the magic trick bit.

Lmfao the way the magician runs away from the magic door / camera cone vision and "hides in the shadows" reminds me of Metal Gear Solid on PS1 😂😂😂

The levitation trick is incredibly impressive; i definitely wouldn't have got it especially with the looping

all the assistants either stretch their neck, wiggle their body, cross the legs, or place their hands on their hip. I get that that's the point but every time they pop up I know they're gonna do it so I do it with them lmaoo

Um, I wouldn't. Flash paper is easily accessible online & is MADE for this sort of thing - it quickly ignites, causes a big flash of colour (I believe you can even choose from a few different colours, but I may be mixing up magic products, heh heh) & most importantly, burns away extremely quick with little to no residue/ash left behind. Just dampening normal typing paper with some form of high-proof alcohol is...not a good idea.

Those who are fooled by these are simpletons! The show was great, watched it as a kid, but instead of ‘greatest magic tricks revealed’ it should have been called simple average tricks revealed.

The burning paper trick seems overly complicated. Just make the burn paper into a pocket, and have the note inside at the start. Then, you could do all sorts, like saying you can use fire to turn regular tissues into money, by starting with it crumpled, and then burning it. The burning part would then still work exactly as it did here.

Great show but I don’t really count camera tricks/angles as proper illusion. We can all do those.
