I tried that too and it still didn't want to work! I think I just got a dud. Still a great toy though!

I watched this because a friends daughter asked for it as a birthday present and I wondered what it did. It's really cute for a little girls toy. For around 20$ each in my state I guess it's a reasonable price. Liked the video. Gonna buy it today. 😊

Great video guys. I really like these. That looked really slimy Brian lol they were both cute. My friend uses the empty cauldron as pots to,put her flower/plants pots in . They look really cool if you got cactus in them. (Might be a sun change one)

Yeah it was slimy and gritty! I think we should have used more water to get the powder gone. Using the pots for plants is a good idea! I don't know what we are going to use ours for yet. Hope your day is well!

These are very cool I just started to get the mini figure ones and I think they are adorable. Thought this brand had interesting toys and fun designs from the beginning just never pulled the trigger on them. Also excited for the pixlings dolls to come out on shelves

Magic Mixies toys are always fun. The Magic Mixies Pixelings have the BEST toy reveal I have ever seen. They are really really cool. Just be careful to follow the instructions on that one!

This toy had such a great reveal and was really fun to open. They plushies are also really cute. The price does seem a bit high though.

So, I do not understand this toy line. Is the powder safe to get on your hands? Can everything be wiped down to keep- the cauldron and gem? I want to get this for my toddler, but hate to expose her to the mess. I also hate to spend nearly $30 on dolls and not have accessories to keep.

The cauldron can be washed out with soap and water and saved to play with. However, the cauldron has a large base in it that pushes the toy up for the reveal. So, you are not left with a large empty cauldron. I do not know what the powder is made from. We have always cleaned everything with soap and water, and have not had any issues. This company typically designs the toys to keep everything except the box it came in and the potion making packages. Hope this helps!

The directions are for fire and water rings. But the purple seems to be an earth ring. Not sure how you trigger it or what it does. Cannot find out online.

We tried hot water, ice cubes, and sun. Nothing worked. Sometimes the color change just doesn't want to work. Oh well, this toy was still fun even without the color change ring.

Thank you for posting I’ve been wondering what the mystery gem ones were. I really want the butterfly one 🥹. They are my current hyper fixation as a 27 year old woman child with a credit card 🤣
