I❤magic mixies but I’ve never had one

In case any parents are wondering, glycerin or glycerol is used as an artificial sweeter, preservative, and solvent in foods, medications, and cosmetics. When mixed with water and vaporized it can be used to make smoke for fog machines. Unless you are specifically allergic to it, it is non-toxic.

How much glycerin does it need? Do I have to mix it with water?

@@mariateresapalmisano2626 mix 30 to 15 parts glycerin with remaining parts distilled water to make the smoke solution. Then you need a vaporizer machine. The solution should be used immediately upon mixing because overtime it breeds bacteria.

nobody points out that after you get a full charge you have to actually put the water inside the cauldron before it makes noise At least the one we just got done doing did not make sounds until after the water was put in it but my grandson got the blue onew and had so much fun

I got the crystal ball last Christmas and I named my magical creature Venus.

Other ingredients seem to be baking soda based fizzers. The feather is made of thin tissue paper. One ingredient may be made out of polyethylene glycol which is basically miralax, an over the counter medication. Huge amounts of it, 8.5 to 17 grams, have to be consumed for treatment of mild constipation so if accidentally ingested it shouldn't be harmful.

Powders are baking powder and mica powder for sparkle, Fizzes are basically mini bath bombs so baking soda+citric acid, feathers/horn/naming scrolls/unicorn hair/ luck clover/ lucky scroll are dissolvable paper which usually meant for cheap magic tricks, and the little crystals are made of dissolvable soap, dragon and mermaid scales are made of soap paper (dissolvable paper with soap on it), then there the rest of the refill box that is popping crystals, fluid gel, and foam powder… all ingredients can be found in craft stores or grocery stores to make own of them 🥰 (also pardon if I sound like a know it all I just thought you might want to know what to look for if you wanted to make it yourself too)

I also noticed on the little critters you can absolutely tell if one’s a girl and one’s a boy!!! By their eyelashes!!!! The girls lashes have more and the boy doesn’t making their eyes look different.

Is it possible to buy the plush toy on its own? Or at least with the refill pack? Or do I have to buy a new cauldron just to get a new plush toy?

Maybe from Mericari or EBay you can purchase one if someone’s selling an already opened one without the cauldron but not in stores. I’m running into the same problem. I’m going to have 6 cauldrons at the end of this if we try to find all of them haha.

I got one from eBay for £19 because I found the cauldron and wand in a charity shop for £1.50 but it was missing the mixie toy
