Thank you!! This is the only tutorial that was slow enough to follow and greatly appreciated. The other tutorials showing how to do this knot were frustratingly too fast.

Thanks for a v nice demonstration of magic knot. Just a query,is it same as weaver knot ?......or are magic n weavers knot are two different kind of knots?

It's not that I don't trust this technique...it's that I prefer knot to have too! Also I'm a sock knitter...and knots are not for socks!

I enjoy knitting socks too! If I use this technique on socks, I make sure they're either on the top of the foot or in the leg. I agree - I feel them if they're in the bottom of the foot.
