Magic went to shake MJ's hand. Magic congratulated Isiah and Mark Aguirre after the 89 Finals. Magic congratulated Dr J and Moses and Billy Cunningham with Kareem and Pat Riley after the 83 Finals. No matter what you say about the man and the franchise, Magic and the Lakers are all class.

*CAUTION* Talking bout the pistons physical abuse? Think logically sooner or later the NBA wouldve done something about it, they wouldnt stand by and let their best players get their careers threatened from injuries, that would ruin the image of the NBA and one of their biggest source of income, especiallly now that the NBA has entered the modern era and more kids watch it.

That 1991 Bulls team has one of the best defensive teams ever!!You look at old footage, you see how fast they recover. How they close up openings. Michael and Scottie jumping in and out of passing lanes. I know this is a different age, but I think they would very effective today just as much as they were then even with the 3 point shooting.

In 1991, the Bulls were ascending and the Lakers were descending. Yet Magic willed his team into the Finals one more time. That means from 1980 to 1991, the Lakers missed only 3 Finals. This was the Bulls first Finals under Jordan.

All my relatives were Knicks fans who told me Jordan wasn't going to win a title but that didn't hold up. Watching Jordan and his Bulls teams was great at the time but a privilege now. In 2021 Jordan is still talked about far more than any current player and it doesn't surprise me one bit. I don't think there will ever be a player like Jordan again because it had to happen at the right time and that time is gone. Great players will come and go as they have but people are still wearing Jordan's on their feet not those guy's shoes and Jordan has been retired for how long? If a guy came along scoring 50 a night he would never be a big a star as Jordan.
