That's what I am here for! There's definitely more volume with the koa... though it was easier to tell on my video editor where you could see the physical representation of the sound levels...

I was completely surprised by both of these instruments! I’ve never ever thought of having a Fluke mainly coz I didn’t like the shape so much but, with such a really good sound coming from these baritones, I would definitely try them out if I ever get down again to your magical, Aladdin’s cave of Ukuleles! Oh….and I like the sound from both of them…very different but both very good! Great demo & I LOVE the wee fancy bit you played at the end…shame your fingers cramped up! 👍🏻💖

Joyce, they cramped up as I'd been doing it and messing it up for 5 minutes before the bit that I kept in the video ;)

I cannot believe the sound of these! I recently started playing baritone after dabbling with classical guitar to add some variety to my uke playing. These are such a fabulous, portable option. I had my eye on another Millar (baritone this time as I love the neck on my current Millar), but these have me thinking…..Thank you, Matt, for another great video!

From u.k. Struggled with guitar, both electric and acoustic forever. Bought, sold, given away, could never progress past a certain level. My two sons picked them up around 12 yrs old and ended up being in separate rock bands for yrs off and on still are now in their 30s! I ended keeping a nice Admira classical as I said got in a rut, with my playing. I saw a baritone ukulele tutorial on KZread. I bought a tanglewood baritone never looked back! With playing guitar a little, I was all over it in no time. Tuned D.G.B.E. Great tone deepest of ukes. I really like the medieval look to these. Get a baritone for a deeper sound if you play guitar you will Love it.

If you're just keeping that Kanilea hanging around for comparison purposes, can I take that one off you hands please? 🤔😀

Hi Matt. I have a yellow top MF concert. Quirky but fun. The triangular body might actually work better ergonomically on the larger baritone. Your thoughts? I like baritones that sound more like a ukulele than a guitar and these might fit the bill, especially the walnut version (according to my ear buds). Dgbe tuning?

How ukuleles feel is my achilles heel. I play so many shapes and sizes daily that everything sounds normal! But I certainly enjoyed playing it. And yes, it is regular baritone tuning.
