Exactly what I need as a drive system for my Electric wheelchair....

We bought the plans and are now 80% into the build and as we are a welding and laser cutting company we was so impressed on the magic carpet gokart the guy has spent alot of time on designing and building this .great job mate. We soon will post our video.

I've got spinal stenosis. I'm most comfortable laying on my side. Is there a "lowrider" prototype model... A real carpet ride?

If you brake hard enough, it will activate automatic dismount. Brilliant!

now that I have completed my DIY fabrication workshop at my new home I can turn my attention to building one of these. Beats the heck out of running with scissors!

That is sweet , could use some stability during stops and go ,ever try using the mattracks system for the tracks , but other wise that looks fun to ride , ill expect to see more videos from you guys keep up the good work on the project .

Very nice. Way more useful in the real world that a Segway. What are the tracks made out of? Old tires? Do you think it needs a fourth road wheel for stability front to back? Looks like starting or stopping can be a bit challenging if you don't have your weight distributed correctly.

Looks like a tracked Segway. Might be good for hiking here in the Islands for someone with mobility issues... You might want to look into that...might be money maker... Bob White I just was thinking about that. Give people with mobility issues a way to go hiking...

His plans are on eBay, and he does a good job with the plans, ordering parts now to start one. Says in the plans cost is around $1600, I'm guessing it will be closer to 1200 with slot of work. Don't really look easy to build, better have some time and skill to put into one!
