He is a great musician. A legend.
When I was so young my older sister played this song all the time! I remember when she showed me the album cover, and I blurted out "What's wrong with his hair???"
Maggie May with Rod and J'Anna in 2021, dont now why but i love her and her playing !!
An old acquaintance of mine, the late great Long John Baldry, had seen Rod playing harp for the Dimensions at Ken Colyer's club in London's Oxford Street in 1964 and later found Rod drunk, singing an old Muddy Waters song with harmonica at Twickenham railway station. He ran over from the other side of the tracks and asked him to join his new band. The rest is history.

I was lucky enough to see Sir Rod in 1977. My first concert. We partied pretty hard that night and had the best time of my life. The next day, I was a tad bit hung over….but that hangover lasted a week and turned out to be morning sickness! Partying stopped & my baby was born in August 1978. The plan was if the baby was a boy, his name would be Rod. But alas I had a beautiful daughter who grew up listening to my all time favorite artist. I’m 65 & she’s 44 & loves him like her mama does❤️!

Keep on keepin on Rod we love ya !!❤😊
Loved Rod for 51 years, seen him 24 times over the years, he is just brilliant! A fantastic showman, always has the audience on their feet dancing. His interaction with the audience is so personal, he makes you feel like you're old friends. You still got it Rod the God and boy you have the sexiest smile ❤️🎶
Some of those people in the audience need to appreciate one of the few British ROCK ROYALTIES. Rod the Mod is one of them. I grew up watching and listening to him on the radio and MTV when MTV was MTV. Now I'm a 58 yrs old grandma with grandchildren. Long live The Who, The Faces, The Stones, The Beatles, Zeppelin, Queen!!!! I got in trouble with my parents at 13 yrs old cause I put all their posters on my bedroom wall. I'm still so proud of it all these years!!!

Hell yea cindy..I'm 57..my first concert was today in 1977. Queen. Springfield ma. Cold Sunday night. No opening act. Freddie dressed..in his customers...long black n white body costume..just controlling the audience..your right. Must me something in tge water over in England...just look at the music tgey gave our country.... just mindboggling.. Ronnie wood..wanted to join the stones for years. But rod told jagger to go f....k himself many times..Ronnie is with me..he told mick... but Ronnie. Always to be a rolling stone. N if it wasn't for Ronnie wood. The stones probably would have broke iup in the mid 80's... Ronnie saved them.beugn a buffer..between mick n keith...

Seeing Rod In a few weeks. Cannot wait.
He has been doing this so long he's on auto pilot. He won't stop until he is done. Awesome career.
Had the pleasure to see him in concert at Jones Beach Long Island in the 90s.. it was outdoor venue, it was teaming rain the whole day and night…we were soaked, but Rod performed as if it was not even raining… his voice in person just blows you away… bless you Rod Steward Maggie May is a special song to me, in 71 my husband and I just left our wedding reception, got into our Beatle VW car, and Maggie May was playing on the radio, till this day when I hear it, I am that 20 year old bride

I think he is one of the best entertainers. He puts on a great show, real Las Vegas style he doesn’t just sing one song after another. I love the way he changes his outfits during the performance. Saw him several times in the 80s and again in mid 2000. Can’t wait for him to come to the east coast.
Jeff Beck would never allow this much fun,,,,,,,

I am 61 yrs old also born in 1961 the same year Rod supposedly lost his virginity to alias Maggie Mae I’ve been fortunate enough to see him in concert 7 times rows 1, 3, 8, 13, 17, 23 last time being the late 90’s row 28.. 17th row I wiped out about a dozen launching for a soccer ball coming within an inch 😩 I did end up with a pretty white balloon out of 100 dropped … It saddens me watching this video it’s very visible that he’s struggling while pushing with everything in him even at times showing he’s in a desperate need for a long nap 😢
