You've got to work her out, lol, wife and I laughed. Mafex is most definatly getting it handled all the way around! Cape issue for sure can be dealt with. Thanks for the vid!

the forearm is not a wash. it's meant to be slightly different color. i love mine. personally the best Batman figure for me. you must get the new Super Cavil, it is definitely worth it. other than the left toe joint on Sup which they molded incorrectly.

I would give this Batman a 9/10, he looks awesome, and your cape fix works for me. I can't unhear your's and Adam's batman voice from nerd rage when i see these figures, makes me smile :^)

Great review, its giving me cause to consider grabbing the JL figures, and I wasn’t before seeing this and the Flash reviews! Mafex has been utterly killing it with their Nolan trilogy figures, and doing a LOT of them. You’ve checked out Bane I know, and they just keep getting better in terms of quality, all around and qc. Their 3.0 Dark Knight is easily my favorite 1:12 Batman. With more accessories coming for him with their Bruce figure to boot.

Great review fellow collector..... It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me ". This Batman actually looks pretty damn nice. Can't wait for Mafex comic Spider-Man! The hitters for me personally is Figuarts and Max Factory aka Good Smile......gonna give Mafex a shot here after this review.

JL is prob my second fave DC movie in recent years , even with it's flaws the others have way too many to say . I wouldn't get the figures if I didn't love the film for the price they cost :) Cool review man .

Mafex is kicking butt with its DC figures. I've been extremely satisfied with Batman, Superman, Flash, and Aquaman looks great. Any particular reason you chose the SHF Flash over Mafex?

The figure looks awesome but I don't like that cape at all. I don't remember the cape looking like leather in the movie. Update: I just walked past a poster and apparently I'm wrong. It does look like leather. I still don't like it

It doesn't matter. The material is horrible the cape is too thick overall and it doesn't fall naturally on the figure. It looks similar to what Mezco did with their BvS Batman but it's not the same. The cape on the Mezco is much lighter and thinner. The material drapes very nicely on the Mezco.

Why does he look like he's wearing open toe sandals? Is he hanging out with Wonder Woman on the beach, or what?

Whilst hardly the fault of this figure, I think all movie Batman cowls are wrong. I don't think they ever show enough of the actors jawline making their face seem silly and smooshed inwards, to me.

TrypticOwen I agree... WB is doing something wrong with each one. They need to get one that doesn’t look like it’s noticeably uncomfortable for the actor to wear. This figure also highlights exactly what sucks about the JL cowl... it’s shape is all wrong because it’s kinda rounded. If you look at pictures from the comics batman is supposed to have a very square looking head.

I think of the nineties animated Batman as my definitive Batman. I think the problem with live action Batmans ('Batmen'???) is ears - if you follow most people's jaw line and cheekbone to where they meet, their ears would not fit inside a batcowl. In animation and comics, Bruce Wayne's earlobes end up in the same place as Optimus Prime's trailer! ;-)

Yeah, I guess you kinda have to adjust for live action a little bit. I also notice in the animated series that Batman's exposed mouth area takes up the larger part of his head whereas in live action it always takes up the smaller part of Batman's head. You should check out pictures of my custom version of this figure. I modified the head sculpt and gave him a different neck. Looks much better. Probably not exactly what you'd be looking for but I got rid of the rounded "helmet" look that his cowl has on this figure.

I am extremely disappointed with this figure, he's not chubby looking like he was in the movie, and his face doesn't bulge out the mask like it did in the movie
