Bare armed look isn't as good as I was hoping, I think the issue is the torso. It's smaller to accommodate the jacket, so an entire swap-out torso would've been smarter. Also not a fan of the small size, actor heights and character heights differ all the time, and I don't think anyone would've minded a bigger figure.

You might want to look into some of the custom movie master Banes that are on ebay or (and this is what I did). Buy this (www.amazon.com/Batman-Knight-Masters-Exclusive-Deluxe/dp/B0086GA5YQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1519777348&sr=8-4&keywords=movie+masters+two+pack) and this (www.amazon.com/Batman-Knight-Masters-Collector-Figure/dp/B006O6F25W/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1519777403&sr=1-1&keywords=movie+masters+bane) and swap out the arms. I did it over a year ago after watching some videos and I couldn't be happier. He looks so much more imposing next to my SH Figuarts Batman and not as short.

I love what MAFEX has been doing lately. They really stepped up the game. I hope they continue doing that.

Same here. If it gets me more awesome toys, I'll take it. They have been killing it.

To this day, I will never understand people who hated this look for Bane. Obviously it’s not comic accurate, but that doesn’t mean it’s not awesome on its own! It’s pretty obvious we weren’t going to get the Luchador look for Bane, so I think this look was fantastic for the movies. Likewise, this figure looks great and will probably find its way on my shelf (sorry wallet!).

Juan Sanchez I can get why people would be upset if this Bane was bad but Hardy owned the role and they made Bane very menacing. I completely agree there's really no reason not like his character.

I'm so stoked to get my hands on this figure!!! I also can't wait for Scarecrow and Two-Face from this line.

Mafex is seriously killing it and now we know who will be the next bane youre the perfect candidate! great vid as always man!

I was thinking, I wonder if they’ll include a interchangeable (shirtless) Bane torso with another TDK trilogy figure? Maybe Mafex will make a Motorcycle chase version of Bane, that hasn’t been made.

That would be awesome but I feel like Medicom has solicited everything they are going to put out. Which is a shame, with the quality and love put in here I'd like them to do every single character and version.

You could deffo be Shia LaBeouf’s beard phase double

Grip hands are for the Batman cowls. But I guess you can do the gripping his vest look too that he does in the movie a lot

Beyond just the face print tech, according to Medicom's blog this is the first figure they've actually painted the skin color on, which is something they'll be implementing on future figures moving forward (supposedly anyway).

I'm actually looking forward to this figure...almost passed on him because I did not like hardys interpretation of bane in rises....your impression though is killer

I think the grip hands are for the broken cowl parts but I’m not entirely sure lol overall a rad Tom Hardy toy can totally see the resemblance now xD

Looking good! It possibly would have looked better if for the secondary look they went with the long-sleeved shirt Bane wears at the end of the movie for his rematch with Batman. Perhaps if they did that the big gaps below the shoulders would have been less noticeable? I could be wrong. I wonder if anything else will be announced for this line. No one has done a Rachel Dawes in this scale... not even Mattel. I doubt it'll happen, but I feel like that's still a hole in the collection that needs to be filled somehow.

I grabbed him from HLJ and they shipped it EMS, but it was still incredibly fast. It usually takes a week, it only took 3 days.

First papa Kratos, now Tom Hardy's Bane? Who's next in the likeness? O.o 🤔

Dude can't wait to get mine! a little bummed about his size, they could've made him half an inch taller but I'll take what I can get. By the way Robo, I found a copycat channel that's ripping off your vids, I had sent you the link on Instagram, don't know if you caught it.

Looks great, given that Selina and (SHF) Harley look fine next to each other, I'm assuming Bane and Harley look good too - it's a generic movie people/deadpool/ironman shelf (non star wars). I think I may have to make a detonator to go in his hand, or search for a 1:12 SMG/assault rifle (trying to remember what he has in the battle at the end)??? Re the bare arms, how easy/hard do you think it would have been to include a cup to help mask the chest/arm joint?

The cup is a good idea, but I can't seem to make it work in my head without looking too weird. And yeah, SHF Harley looks pretty good here, and I saw another pic with SHF Deadshot that works too, since Smith is 4 or 5 inches taller than Hardy.

Another use for the "gripping" hands is for grabbing the chest spot of its vest I believe... Could it be?

Awesome figure, I just got mine today... Just curious tho, how does Bane hear? Does he even have ears? Because his mask covers up his ears.. lol The mask would be so tight in real life, makes me wonder if they removed his ears.. because the mask pumps venom drug inside his brain from what i understand every 12 hrs.

I think personally that the actor Paul Giamatte could play you in the fwoosh movie.

I don't have any of the Multiverse Suicide Squad or JL figures, and only a few Movie Masters from way back. This seems to look okay next to that TDK Joker though.

Can bane do the look where he is holding the front straps on his vest when he first fights batman on the walkway in the sewer? its super iconic for the Nolan trilogy bane to do that look i think its something the hot toys bane left me disappointed with :( but thats another story lol Cool review brother!

There's no straps to actually grab but he can do the pose nicely with the bare arms, they have a bit more movement in the elbow.

Probably not, the arms are meant to come off and other pieces probably aren't as sturdy as toys made specifically for that age group.

I think I prefer the movie masters Bane

What? MAFEX BANE FIGURE IS SMALLER THAN BATMAN ? SO BATMAN'S BACK WAS BROKEN BY A LITTLE MAN !? I thought Bane will be same size as the Mafex Batman figure. In the comics,He is way bigger than Batman. Aw man, this Bane is no different than the Movie Master Figure Bane that I have. Funny thing is Mafex Bane reminds of a football player that bullies small guys for lunch money. Better Keep this Bane away from Strong winds as he is skinnier than Batman.
