Maybe not. Because i only know a bit about poker and realize how ridiculous it was ( the betting and acting were fine) Youre making an Intelligent, spy movie with a gambling theme. Titled "Casino Royale" i get that you dont want to confuse non poker players, but they confused poker players. Why would you cater that film only to people that dont know anything?especially since the cards dont matter to them.. why not just take 5min and make it easily understandable but also realistically possible?

I'm half an hour in and this is the best episode yet. Fantastic stories about Europe which you probably wouldn't hear in any other context. And it's all very genuine and relaxed, like it really is just a few mates having a chat. This is one for the football purists.

@@tykeboy16actually, say an awful lot of people. It's a real shame the Craig era started on such a high, because I think all of the subsequent movies during his tenure were varying shades of inferior.

I've was a lifelong Bond fan and enjoyed Craig's 1st entry. He brought the character into the modern. But subsequent films were 'meh' to me. Bond was supposed to be fun. The new Bond has grown way too dark for me.

I hated how bad the poker scene was in the movie. I was in a small independent film with a poker in it. I told the director that it didn't make any sense and how he could tweak it to make sense. He told me it didn't matter because most people wouldn't understand it anyway. So frustrating.
