Jesus is immortalized as the king of kings and lord of lords, creator and savior. He is the eternal source of life and joy and peace. That reality is even more wonderful, imho.

​@@ribhe133 As a Catholic, I think you have this mixed up. Catholicism worships Jesus and is the oldest Christian church established on Earth. Our Lady of Guadalupe is Mary. Juan Diego was a Catholic and she appeared to let the people know they were falling into sin. She's not another god. She is the virgin Mary. People have changed what she is because they want the cultural heritage without the true Catholic side to it. Check it out, she identified herself as Mary, here's a direct quote from what she said to Juan Diego: "Juanito, the most humble of my sons, where are you going? Know and understand well, you the most humble of my son, that I am the ever virgin Holy Mary, Mother of the True God for whom we live, of the Creator of all things, Lord of heaven and the earth." Then again the next Saturday she told him to go to the bishop of Mexico and "again tell him that I, in person, the ever-virgin Holy Mary, Mother of God, sent you." She also asked for a church to be built the day after the Immaculate Conception, she stands on the moon as does the woman in the Apocalypse in Revelations and has twelve stars about her head, we only know about it because a Catholic priest wrote it to be shared with the world.

@@vicenteisaaclopezvaldez2450 that may be your view, she can be "seen" as that, but she isn't and is no deity, she said so herself. God conducts miracles through her. She is Mary, the Mother of God and the Mother of the Catholic Church :)

this just highlights how big of a problem the animation industry faces. This is the type of polished originality graduates put out in school only to have their wild & beautiful ideas rejected by a studio after graduation.

Toy Story made in Annecy ! La suite raconte l'arrivée d'une nouvelle statue qui se prend pour l'archange Gabriel. Les autres essaient de l'empêcher de se jeter par la fenêtre pour prouver qu'il sait voler. Plus sérieusement, c'est une petite perle d'animation (et la bande son est captivante aussi)

The Catholic Church is beautiful because of its message, that's where it's beauty stems from, the sacrificial solemn quietness of constant prayer and thanksgiving :) It's like saying I want to see Islam without all the religious stuff attached when that's at the centre of all they do.

@@teatotaller2924 nah man, i'm Atheist, what I mean is that I adore churches esthetically-wise. their architecture, drawings, music... and like, not only Catholic Church, but the Orthodox one also (can't say the same about other types of Christianity and their churches, I'm not rlly familiar with them as much, also sorry if I sound stupid saying "other types of Christianity")

@@teatotaller2924 Not necessarily. Just because spiritually you don't agree with some aspects of a certain religion, that doesn't mean that you undervalue their artistic representations. It's like saying I saw the Roman colosseum and enjoyed its architecture so I agree with their slave society and believe in Jupiter.

Il ne s'agit malheureusement pas de bande-annonces! Chaque année au festival d'animation international d'Annecy, un pays ou une région est mise à l'honneur. Ces courts-métrages présentés avant les séances sont là pour mettre en avant des aspects de la culture de l'endroit choisi.
